The house was great for hosting a bunch of friends and spending time together
Close enough to go get coffee or dinner km Waynesville or even Asheville, far enough away to enjoy the space and the outdoors.

My friends and I had the opportunity for a mountain getaway and found the Red Truck Lodge and it did not disappoint! I would call the lodge rustic gourmet. Lots of high end finishes and furnishings in this restored building. The view from the front of the valley and mountain beyond is beautiful and relaxing. Be sure to enjoy some time in the hot tub! We will be back!

About the host
Hosted by Evan Purser
Hey ya'll, I'm a local North Carolina fellow who loves the mountains, even though my home is Raleigh.
Why they chose this property
I searched for over two years to find the perfect mountain escape! I wanted something with all the conveniences and yet super unique on a gorgeous piece of property, but not so far out going to dinner was a pain! I finally found it!! You'll love this spot as much as I do!
What makes this property unique
This was a functional horse barn for years. In the 1980's, it was converted into a home. Since then it's changed hands a few times, and I finally got the opportunity to purchase in 2023. It has so many unique barn and equestrian features. Three of the bedrooms are old horse stalls!! You'll just love the decor and spending time here.
