Historic cottage for solo travelers and couples, 5 min to downtown COS
Short Term Vacation Rental Permit Number: A-STRP-26-0493 My ideal guests are couples or solo travelers with excellent reviews. This is Not a guesthouse, there are No owners living upstairs or downstairs and you don't have to enter through an alley. This is a historic, quirky house with a throwback feel. This cozy and private place is 127 years old; it's on a wide and quiet street lined with trees. It's in a great location: 5 min. from downtown, 3 min. from Old Colorado City, and 6 min. from Manitou. It's where you want to be to visit the main attractions in Colorado Springs. There's a fan and a window AC in the bedroom; a window AC in the living room, a fan in the dining room, a ceiling fan in the kitchen, and a fan in the bathroom. There's a 43 inch TV with Roku Guest Mode. Guests may use streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, etc. by signing in with their own accounts and are kindly asked to sign out before checkout. There are some table games, DVDs, VHS tapes to watch, and a record player. The kitchen has everything that you need to make yourself at home, including a gas stove. There's a full size washer and dryer and laundry detergent.
Dogs are allowed and they love the fenced in backyard. Humans love it as well, especially when the weather is nice. There's a hammock, a hanging chair, a fountain, and flowers. You can bring a maximum of 3 dogs. When you book this house, enter the number of adults (1 or 2) and check the box that says "I am traveling with pets." Vrbo will add a dog fee of $12 per night (total, not per pet); you should add your pet/s when you book.
This Little House was built in 1899 and it is considered a miner's house. It's in Old Colorado City, a historic and quiet neighborhood with a lot of character. The neighborhood is very desirable because of its charm and prime location. Fun fact: a house in this neighborhood was chosen for the 2017 movie "Our souls at night" with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. The house is three blocks away from here on 12th and Pikes Peak (a green house in the corner).

Great stay in a great spot. Convenient access to everything we wanted to do. The place had a great vibe and the host thought of everything. From check in to check out, everything was convenient and simple. We would stay here again if we come back to the Springs.
We really enjoyed our stay at this very cute home. It was located close to the Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak and Old Colorado City. The home was clean, the bed was comfortable and our dogs loved the fenced in back yard. The owner was easy to work with and the neighborhood was quiet. We would stay here again if we ever come back to Colorado Springs.
What are you going to say, five stars is not enough for this place. The host was amazing and stayed in touch just enough to make sure everything was good. The house is great, the fenced in yard is great and the location is great. Awesome place
It was such a nice and relaxing place. It felt like a home away from home. She was very kind and responded to my questions quickly. My dogs loved the yard and the front porch.
The location of the house was great and it was very comfortable … creative and compelling artwork and lots of throwback stuff including a record player, VHS player and old DVDs that we had fun with. Enjoyed our stay!
My dog, Colorado, and I stayed here at the beginning of our trip to Colorado. It definitely started us off on the right foot. The house is conveniently located, and the neighborhood is incredibly peaceful. Exactly what you need for an amazing visit!
Cute home with a nice fenced in front and back yard area which we all enjoyed! Location was also great! Close to food/shops and near pretty much everything! Home was clean.
This little home is just minutes from downtown Old Colorado City. It’s quiet, without a lot of noise from the roads or neighborhood. We enjoyed walking down to OCC on their First Friday Art Days and exploring the shops. We enjoyed hanging in the backyard and just chatting. Recommend for a single traveler or a couple that enjoys being close.
Me and my family, and my dogs had an amazing stay!!!
Andrea is a super host!!!
It’s my second time in this house, and for sure I’m coming back!!!
Great home, super location!!!
We were only here for a quick one night stay and were not able to take full advantage of all this property has to offer. It's a great place, quirky in a good way, and we would definitely stay again!
It’s so clear that this space is loved, full of memories. We had a comfortable weekend away, close to restaurants, easy to get food delivered, 15 minutes from Manitou springs. Record player Wii and VHS tapes! That we loved watching :) thank you and hope we can stay again soon.
Cozy and quaint just as described. My husband and I loved the artsy setting and comfortable surroundings. The little treats and welcome note left for us was a nice surprise. Our dog enjoyed the convenience of the fenced in backyard and we were sorry the weather did not warm up enough to spend time out there. I cook when we travel and the kitchen worked well for me. The neighborhood was quiet during the day as well as at night. Definitely a place we would stay again.
