Most beautiful place deer lakes beautiful streams cabins decorated perfect!
It was a little piece of heaven loved it ! Take Rock Salt other than that Gods Country
We love this cabin! Seriously. This was our 4th time to stay here. It's the embodiment of "cozy".
We love to get away to the mountains in the winter. KingFish Cabin offers exactly what we want...solitude (it's in a community, but during the week it is largely empty), a fireplace that we often use all day, comfortable furniture and beds, and close proximity to both Boone and Banner Elk. It's not a cook's paradise, with pretty rudimentary utensils. But we bring our own stuff and cook most of our meals there. There is always a good supply of firewood (although the grate was broken when we arrived this time and made cleaning the fireplace difficult). On warmer days, both the front and back porches are delightful, with rockers, porch swing, table and other comfortable furniture. When it snows, we completely enjoy spending the entire day in this cozy cabin. In good weather, we are just a short drive away from great places to walk, shop or eat. KingFish would probably feel crowded with more than two people, but for the two of us it is perfect!
Amazing cabin, We enjoyed Every moment we spent there.
Nice and Clean
Our stay was a celebration of 21 years of marriage. We loved our visit at the KingFish cabin! Although we did get out and explore some local restaurants, our favorite time was spent in front of the fire in the cabin. Thank you for the supply of wood! We just about used it all! Great way to get away for our anniversary. Already talking about a return trip!!!

This cabin is very well constructed, clean and in a great area for outdoor activities. The decor is really excellent. Our family enjoyed our stay and had a great week in the mountains at this beautiful retreat.
