Our Kiawah Island home, located on a quiet cul-de-sac, is a luxurious retreat situated on a wooded lot overlooking the 12th hole of Turtle Point. Enjoy the beautiful view from the pool, screened porch or rear deck, all just a short walk (about 15 mins) or bike ride (about 7 mins) away from the beach and island amenities. The home boasts approximately 3500 square feet of living space with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, perfect for multiple families or groups of couples.

The interior is filled with natural light and features high ceilings, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, thick crown molding, and premium finishes. The first floor is designed for entertaining and features a spacious living area with new furniture, a 70” UHD Smart TV over the custom mantel fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a French door leading to the rear deck and pool. The gourmet kitchen with custom cabinets, top-of-the-line appliances and granite countertops is perfect for preparing meals and adjoins the breakfast room and dining area.

The first-floor master suite includes a king-sized bed, private entrance to the rear deck, and a luxurious bathroom with a soaking tub, frameless glass shower, and marble vanities. The second floor has four additional bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms, luxurious amenities, flat-screen TV’s.

Kiawah Island offers an array of outdoor activities including 10 miles of private beach, miles of bike paths, kayaking, boating, birdwatching, and fishing. The island is also known for its world-class golf courses, including the Ocean Course, which hosted the PGA Championship in 2021, and the #1 rated tennis resort, the Roy Barth Tennis Center. Half Marathon Fun

This was a great place to stay. There were 9 of us and we loved the ability to be able to gather in the living room with a great view and a wonderful gas fireplace that served us well when it was cold and rainy. I would recommend this to anyone. Convenient to the race, the beach, great restaurants and bike rides.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home. So spacious and comfortable. Everything you need. Make sure you prepare for the three car maximum. I didn't pay enough attention to that until a few days before we left so it was a slight inconvenience. We would definately rent this home again!!!

A wonderful family vacation

This house worked well for our family for the week. Conveniently located to the beach with short bike ride away. We enjoyed having a pool to cool off in at home. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 babies! Amenities were more than expected in kitchen and with extra pool and beach gear.

Great house with wonderful beach access!

We loved our time at this property. Our extended family met up for a week, from grandparents to toddlers. There were 12 people in our party and we had plenty of space for everyone. We especially enjoyed that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom for added privacy. We made almost every meal at home and the kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the easy bike ride to the beach. Definitely recommend this house!

Wonderful Stay

My family of five and in-laws had a wonderful stay in this Vanderhorst Plantation house. We had a few items that needed fixed when we first arrived and they were attended to right away. The kitchen had everything we needed and my kids enjoyed the pool and beach toys. Location was fantastic. We could ride bikes everywhere. Thanks so much for the great vacation!

A Fabulous Find

This is a great vacation getaway with plenty of beds and baths for the entire family. Everything you need is at the house which is just a short bike ride to the beach. And you can follow your beach day with a dip in the refreshing pool!

We had the best time! The house was much more than we expected. We decided to heat the pool because it was a cool week and Teri had it turned on in hours. It was <5 min bike to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Great family getaway!

This property was wonderful for a getaway with friends and family. It was clean, big enough for a large group, had everything we needed (from the kitchen to beach towels and chairs), and was a great location. The pool was the perfect size to entertain the kids before and after the beach. The beach is a short bike ride away and the kids had so much fun riding there and back. It is also a pleasant walk, if you don’t want to ride a bike (but too long of a walk to carry a lot of heavy beach gear). The property owners were very responsive. The beaches are large and not crowded, so it is easy to socially distance. Our trip was lovely and we would definitely come back to this house in the future!

Beautiful beach home

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation with our 2 daughters and their families. The house was perfect for 6 adults and 4 young children. It was especially nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The children loved the pool after a morning at the beach. The neighborhood is beautiful and we saw deer on our cul de sac on several occasions. Teri was great to work with and we had everything we needed for the week!

Great House!

We stayed 3 families with 5 kids and had plenty of room. Kids LOVED the pool. Quiet location, 5 minute bike ride to the beach. Lot of appliances for all your cooking needs! Overall a great house that had everything we needed. We would definitely rent this one again. We have stayed in several houses on Kiawah over the years and this is our new favorite!

Home worked well for a party of 4 couples and 2 children. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a plus. One of our party had to do some work and the alcove on second floor worked perfectly. One of the best equipped homes I have ever rented.

Majesty of Masters Court

We absolutely fell in love with this beautiful home in Kiawah. This home is perfect for groups of adults as each bedroom has it's own beautiful private bathroom. The two king rooms and two queen rooms are large and equally beautiful. In addition there is a very large bedroom with three twin beds and private bath as well. The pool was awesome! We paid to have it heated as our stay was in early May with chilly temps at night. Well worth the added cost as the pool was super warm, clean and inviting. The beaches, bike trails and seclusion of Kiawah Island cannot be matched. It is truly paradise. The homeowners were fantastic. Excellent communication before, during and after our stay. This was our 7th stay on Kiawah and by far the best home yet!

Really a nice house!

This is the first time we have rented this house. We have rented other homes in the area before and found this to be a really well appointed house. Everything was in working order and we enjoyed our stay. We would rent here again.

Lovely, comfortable home

We had a wonderful stay. It was unfortunately cut short by Hurricane Matthew, but we certainly enjoyed the time we had at the house. It is well-stocked, with lots of comfortable living space. The pool is the perfect size for an afternoon dip. And the screened-in porch allows you to open the French doors and let the air in while you enjoy dinner. You're just a short bike ride away from the beach. We even made friends with the neighbors while we were there. Loved it!

We are a family from Bloomington, Indiana. We have been coming to Kiawah for twenty years and decided to purchase a place of our own after being renters for so long.

Why they chose this property

Kiawah Island is unlike any other vacation destination my family has visited. The beaches are extremely private, there are great dining options on-island and nearby, and the tennis facilities are awesome. The island has a resort-like feel to it, with daily fun-family events and world-class golf, tennis and dining, but also is emersed with wildlife, peace and quiet. Kiawah is also close to Charleston, a very vibrant and historic city. We enjoy visiting the South Carolina Aquarium and eating at Hanks, Coast, Amen Street, Pearlz, Blossom, and Halls. The shopping is fabulous! We have visited the island for almost twenty years and we always knew this was the perfect place for our second home.

What makes this property unique

Our home is located past the second gate of the island, which allows for ultimate privacy, but unlike other private Vanderhorst homes, it is very close to the Kiawah Island amenities and restaurants. Our home has an infinity-pool and great outdoor living space which gives you another great way to enjoy the Carolina sun besides the beach.
