Our townhome has two large bedrooms on the 3rd level, each with a full bathroom. The master bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the courtyard below. It has a queen bed, TV/DVD, dresser, rocking chair and a full bathroom. The west bedroom has a queen bed as well as a bunk bed with two twins. It has a dresser, TV and full bathroom. The kitchen and dining room are on the second level and the living room with its gas fireplace and entertainment center are on the entry level. A quarter bath is located near the dining room. The living room includes a full sofa (which folds out to a queen bed) a love seat, gas fireplace and entertainment center. The main entrance to the townhome is on the courtyard and there is a deck off the living room that overlooks it. A single car garage equipped with sleds is located a few steps below the living room.
This is our home away from home and it is equipped with everything a traveling family would need. The interior furniture and color scheme are warm and inviting. The ability to to be within a minute or two of the front door after skiing, hiking or swimming is invaluable, especially for families. We love it!.
Keywords: The 'Cedars' townhome development is just below Beaver Run Resort and faces the slope & the Quicksilver Lift at the base of Peak 9. This location on Peak 9 is a short walk to town, to hiking, biking, sledding, restaurants, the Riverwalk Center, bus and shuttle lines, and the Upper Village pool and hot tubs. This three level townhome looks out over a landscaped courtyard and has a one car garage. Updated throughout in 2006, it is our warm and comfortable 'home away from home'. Breckenridge is a fantastic getaway both in summer and in winter! From our front door, it takes less than 2 minutes to walk to the slope (across the courtyard) where you put on your skis, & ski 100 feet downhill to the lift line!
Having grown up in Alaska I have always loved the mountains and small towns. This is our piece of heaven, and we love the winter and summer here equally. We ski, sled, walk into town, find live music, swim, hot tub, all within a few minutes away. Summer offers great concerts and flowers, amazing biking and hiking, and a myriad of restaurants and shops. In the winter, the ski hill borders our townhome development and offers a wide range of difficulty levels for skiiers and boarders. The ticket office and Quick Silver Lift are 3 minutes from our front door. Sledding, skating, cross country skiing and snow shoeing are all available in the winter. Breckenridge is a town that is friendly. It is a perfect fit for our family. The kids love that the lift is two minutes from the front door, and Main Street and all its fun is a short walk away. Once we arrive, we seldom use the car.
JULIE C DINNEEN purchased this townhome in 2005
For us, this is the perfect getaway. Nice folks, beautiful scenery, music, plays, so many outdoor choices, and great spots to share a meal with friends. It is the perfect small ski town that also boasts great summer/fall events .. concerts, art shows, Saturday markets, and bike races. Nearby Dillon offers Friday night outside concerts in the summer overlooking Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range. Watch the sun set and dance til' dark!
A stay at our home means that you have easy access to the lift and back home when ever you need a break. When it is cold, when kids are tired, when you are hungry..we seldom dine on the slopes because it is so easy to go home, warm up, relax, eat and return to the slopes. Whether it is winter or summer, the travel time between our home and any activity, on foot or by car, is short.
Our stay at Julie's place was perfect for our family. When we arrived, the condo was larger than we expected and was very comfortable for our family of six. This was one of the few condos we found that had a bunk bed and queen in the second bedroom, and it was perfect for us. But the absolute best thing about this condo is the location. It is literally just a couple hundred feet to the base of Quicksilver lift and to the Ski School at the Village. We came in for lunch every day and avoided the expense of eating on the mountain. The location also allows you to walk to dinner at night if you want to go out. Other than running to the grocery store (which is very close) we parked our car for the week and walked everywhere we needed to go. There is no question that if we go back to Breck anytime soon that we would love to stay here again.
Property was lovely. Great location. Owner was great to work with.
This is a very comfortable, family friendly townhome close to the Quicksilver lift and Main Street. It is in a nice quiet part of Breck, very nice for families. The heated garage was a nice bonus for our rental car. The owner was very responsive. If we have the opportunity to travel to Breckenridge again, we will definitely try to book this unit again.
Everything was great! Loved the place, and all the information we needed was right there at our fingertips. Thanks, Julie!
Very clean, spacious and close to main street. Our family of 4 appreciated the multiple levels, kids loved the bunk bed and short walk to the pool. We would highly recommend this unit.
Great location within walking distance to downtown and the Peak 9 lifts. Property was in very good condition and well decorated. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Location to the lifts allowed us to come and go as a family without having to ride a bus or meet at the car.
The Riverwalk Center is a few blocks away and offers great musical concerts. The local theatre is several blocks away and offers plays for all ages. Just up the hill at Beaver Run Resort is live music during the ski season. A short drive away (5 min) is a great sledding hill and a Nordic ski center where you can ski or snow shoe. Access to the bike path from Breckenridge to Frisco or Keystone is 3 blocks away. The bus and shuttle system within Breckenridge and to Frisco and Keystone has stops within a block of the townhome. For golfers, Breckenridge and Keystone have beautiful courses. In summer, the wildflowers are amazing and the hikes along the creeks, within minutes of the townhome, are quite beautiful. We like to walk down to Maggie Pond and its adjoining shops and restaurants.. it is located next to the Quicksilver Chairlift. It takes less than 2 minutes to walk across the courtyard to the slope where you put your skis on, point them downhill - in 30 secs you are in line!
