We had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin in the woods. The interior wood paneling is cozy and attractive and the kitchen is well-equipped. Air conditioning and fans keep it comfortable in the warmest temperatures. The porch is a great place to relax or have a meal overlooking the pond.
This was my first VRBO expierence and it was amazing. The host was very responsive and quick to answer all our requests. The cabin was equipped with lots of house hold supplies. We were very pleased with the seclusion outside and appreciated the wildlife. If you are lucky you might catch a beaver at the pond :) The sauna was also very easy to use and definitely recommend to take advantage of. Wifi was good so you can also enjoy streaming shows/movies with no worries. Finding the site was very easy to navigate. Definitely would recommend this spot for anyone who wants to enjoy some peace and privacy.
The cabin and property are just as described, even lovelier in person. Dave and Stephanie were extremely responsive, answering any questions very quickly both before and during our stay! We enjoyed fishing, the sauna looking out over the peaceful pond, and just relaxing and listening to the birds and frogs. The house had everything we needed to cook several of our meals, using both the charcoal grill and stove inside. It was a perfect space for our family of 4 and we’d stay again without hesitation!

Ilke was a wonderful guest and is welcome to stay again! Highly recommend as a guest.
We enjoyed our stay! It was so quiet, peaceful and close to CMAC and wineries in the area. The kitchen was well appointed and there were toiletries for the bathroom. Beds were real comfortable and A/C worked great. Very clean and we really liked the sauna feature!
Extremely cozy cabin great for Winter stays. The living room was spacious with comfortable seating and a nice TV/soundsystem. The open plan kitchen was fully stocked with almost everything needed to cook/bake all manner of foods. There are two beds, one with a softer mattress, another with a harder mattress, which we appreciated as my partner and I have different preferences. We're looking forward to coming back in the spring to take advantage of nicer weather.
Our stay at Camp Navarac was absolutely perfect from the moment we stepped foot inside. The cabin is exceptionally clean and well-appointed! We loved all of the little details about the history and all the Navarac decor. Instructions from Dave for check in were detailed and easy! The property is quiet, peaceful, and well maintained. The sauna is a really nice modern addition, which we really enjoyed now that it’s getting cool at night! There is nothing I would change at all about this wonderful stay! Can’t wait to come back!
Camp Navarac was the perfect getaway. We drove in for a long weekend to see the solar eclipse. The cabin was clean, cozy, and charming. You can tell Dave and Steph put a lot of care into setting it up for guests, and that it means a lot to their family. The kids loved the games, books, and pond. The parents loved the gas fireplace, sauna, and conveniences (laundry, coffee, good hot water, big porch with mats for muddy boots). We even got to meet the horses and chickens next door. We would absolutely return, maybe to check it out in different seasons. Thanks!

Stephanie and I have lived in Canandaigua for most of our lives and we raised our 3 girls here . My mother was the girl's phys-ed teacher in Canandaigua and my father was a business owner so many in town know the LaBarge name. I grew up on this property and purchased the1840 farmhouse next door to the cabin from my parents in 2000. We love the outdoors, especially fishing, hiking and skiing and working outside. In the summer months you may see me up on the hill cutting firewood or the girls riding horses.
Why they chose this property
Our property is very secluded and surround by trees, hills and wilderness. At peak color in the fall, the reds, oranges and yellows are amazing. Winter is fun with cross country and downhill skiing and at night at anytime of the year, on a clear night, the stars are amazing with no light pollution.
What makes this property unique
The pond is crystal clear and the cabin is as cozy, It feels a lot like the Adirondacks. Bristol Mountain and Canandaigua are very close with great shopping, food and fun activities. We are also in the middle of the Finger Lakes wine country and there are five public golf courses within 30 minutes of the cabin.
