Jordan River Coastal Cottage

Come enjoy our beautiful little home in the forest just a 20 minute walk from China Beach. Please no pets. Unplug and enjoy, the home does not have internet. We have a TV with a large selection of movies and TV shows on DVD. House fits up to four people. Standing room loft with a queen and private bedroom with a queen and half bath. Cozy in floor heating and wood stove. Has a dishwasher and a good basic kitchen with essentials plus a BBQ. Coffee press/hair dryer/ironing board/crib. Walk in shower.

Jordan River is a remote location with limited cell phone service. We provide detailed directions to ensure you can find us if your phone connection lets you down. Please save or ensure you can access these directions when you don't have cell reception.

Be sure to pick up any food needed and fill up on fuel when passing through Sooke (30 minute before Jordan River when arriving from Victoria side) since there are no grocery stores or gas stations in Jordan River.

Check in is anytime after 3pm. I will send the code for the house lockbox with key. Please let yourself in and make yourself at home.

Beautiful home with everything you will need for a great stay. Surrounded by trees it was so peaceful & quiet. Loved the wood burning stove to warm up the place in the evening. Would definitely go back!

This cottage was magical! It's tucked away in the forest, with all of the amenities you could ask for. It is very central to beaches and trails and I can't wait to return on my next trip to Vancouver Island!

Amazing cottage, we want to live here! Cute, cozy, tons of space. Great area to get to all the beautiful beaches. Kitchen had everything you need including condiments and spices. Big shower and comfy beds. So quiet and peaceful! We will be back!

Lovely Peaceful Stay!

We loved staying here, the cabin was beautiful and the area was so peaceful :) not too difficult to find thanks to the detailed instructions we were sent, and the property was very clean and tidy.

Place was amazing. Great location to explore the area. Lots af activities at the cabin to keep the kids entertained. Only recommendation would be to add blinds. Kids were up and 6 every morning. Thanks appreciated your cabin.

Beautiful home in the woods.

Had an amazing time staying in this home. The setting is beautiful and private in the woods. Not to mention the location is so close to every place in Jordan River you will want to visit. Great place to unplug and unwind. Would highly recommend staying here.

Hard to Leave

The property was very comforting and inviting and we didn't want to leave. From the wood stove to the radiant floors and the comfortable beds, this was truly a home away from home. The surrounding woods and trail to the beach were really the icing on the cake! We loved our stay here and would return again in a heartbeat.

Access to all the great beaches in a beautiful forest setting

Great cabin with an amazing kitchen with tools that work. Great place for a family with small kids wid outdoor and indoor toys and privat access to china beach. Immaculate kept cabin with soul and makes you feel home & relax 😌. Thank you 🙏

The property, although older, was very clean, and everything was in perfect working order. The property is within easy driving to really good restaurants, but a little further driving is required for shopping. Although our friends and I do not really care if there is Wi Fi or cable, as the owner suggested that he is more concerned that people can for a shot while remove themselves from everyday information flow, we we there to enjoy ourselves, and that is what happened. A point to the owner would be to advise prospective tenants of the narrow staircase up to the bedroom in the loft. It could be an issue for some clients.

Beautiful forest getaway

What a gorgeous house - we felt like we were sleeping in a west coast art gallery! All the little details to make life easy are thought of - the house is immaculate and you can tell building it was a labour of love. Our family enjoyed hiking directly from the house - a beautiful and easy trail to hook into the China Beach Campground trail to the beach.
