About this property
Sunnyside Lodge- Private Path to Lake
Escape to Sunnyside Lodge, a classic Lake Tahoe retreat for 12 guests. This spacious, all-season home offers private beach & pier access, a hot tub with partial lake views, and fast Wi-Fi. Nestled in a secluded neighborhood, you're just a short walk from the lake and a quick drive to Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Palisades ski resorts. Perfect for large families seeking adventure and relaxation.
We respect our guests' privacy and aim to provide a seamless, independent stay. We will not be present on the property during your visit but are readily available via the messaging app should you need any assistance or local recommendations. We will provide you with a printed house manual and digital guidebook to help answer any questions that may come up.
There are long-term renters in a separate house on the property. They are not near the main house and will respect your privacy. There is a local handyman, Mr. Honey Do, who rents part of the garage for his equipment. He may come by, but will not come to the house or interact in any way.
Explore the best of Lake Tahoe with world-class skiing at Alpine Meadows, Palisades Tahoe, and Homewood, all just a short drive away. Walk to nearby West Shore Market, Sunnyside Resort, and Firesign Cafe for delicious dining options.
For running, hiking, and biking, we're a mile away from Ward Creek Recreation Area, and 1.7 miles from Paige Meadows trail head with access to the PCT.
Our house is on a quiet side street right by the bike path that goes all the way around the Lake, an easy bike into Tahoe City where you can find bigger grocery stores, restaurants, and rentals.
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house, the expansive deck, hot tub, and the large lawn area. A charming 2-minute footpath leads you directly to the private lakefront for beach and pier access.
PLEASE NOTE:
- There is no guest access to the garage.
- The dock is a shared space; please be respectful of other families and neighbors.

In the event the hot tub is serviced on they day of your arrival, the spa may still be heating upon arrival due to a recent cleaning. If you notice the spa is not hot when you get to the house, please check the service card to see if it was drained the same day. You can always notify us so we can check with the company to confirm this is expected, too.

- Dock is shared so please be respectful of other families and neighbors.
