A beautiful quiet location for a large group. The beach pass made spending days at the beach super easy and convenient. Would suggest bringing kitchen essentials for cooking but otherwise, a great choice to book for your MTK vacation!
My family of 7 had a pleasant and relaxing stay at Hither Hills. The home was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen had everything we could need and more! Communication was fast and pleasant. A wonderful stay in Montauk! Thanks so much!
The house was very clean and the location was great. It was also nice that the home was pet-friendly and well-stocked. However, the outdoor shower did not work, and the refrigerator water filter and ice dispenser did not work. There were also a number of cracked shelves in the refrigerator and broken screens and screen doors. We could not open the window in our room because it was broken, and there were broken posts on the deck. For the amount we were paying I was disappointed to find so much that was broken or not working.
Fantastic stay at a beautiful house in Montauk. We really enjoyed this house. Room for everyone.
The beach pass was perfect which allowed us access to one of the most beautiful beaches
10 min from downtown Montauk
The house was just what our group of 5 old friends was looking for. It was lovely, well equipped and came with access to a bra h area. The owners were extremely responsive. Hope to stay again next year.
The house was amazing.,Newly renovated, comfortable and just perfect for our weekend wedding. The beach was just a short walk, spectacular. Can’t wait to return! Thanks Stephane!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hither Hills in Montauk. The house was well equipped and very nicely maintained. The location was also excellent close to our wedding destination at Gurneys and a short drive to town. The great beach was a short walk, but, unfortunately, we had 2 days of rain!
This was a wonderful house, perfect for our family of eight during an extended weekend stay. It was super clean, comfortable, and in a great location, just minutes from both the ocean beach and town. The kitchen was well equipped for family meals, and the two living room areas were spacious, allowing family members to use different areas of the house for TV time and board game time. This house also gets a lot of natural light from many windows and sliding glass doors, making it feel especially bright. We will be back for sure.
We stayed adult couples/family for a fall weekend wedding. House was well stocked (towels, kitchen tools/dishes, "toys") and as described. We walked and biked to beach. Walked to Gurneys and took short drive to Village and Montauk Point Lighthouse.

Very comfortable - felt like home
Very comfortable house - felt like home! We experienced all weather in 4 days- hot & humid and cold & rainy. Lots of windows make it bright and warm, even when it's rainy. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils etc. Highly recommend it.

Perfect summer house!
We rented this house for June and July of this year and we loved staying there. It was the best set up. Four bedrooms, two living areas (one downstairs, one upstairs), master suite upstairs, great open kitchen/living area and a wrap around upper deck that was perfect for hosting barbeques after a long day at the beach! It's less than 10 minute walk to a private access beach, less than 5 minute drive to town and the train and on a very quiet dead end street. It's up in the hills so in the summer you get a cool breeze all night but you can still hear the waves crashing on the beach. Hither Hills is our favorite area in Montauk and Stephanie and Tom (owners) were amazing and great to rent from! Stephanie had everything laid out ahead of time (bills, instructions, etc) so it was all very easy. We had a great summer there! Thank you, Stephanie and Tom!
The house is lovely and in a fantastic location and we had a really good time - but we had a few issues. Four of six dining chairs were wobbly and two actually broke apart. We were given make shift chairs for the rest of our stay but this should not have happened given the high price weekly rental. The washing machine plumbing can only be described as erratic. A sparky broken toaster had to be replaced. All attended to quickly but should not have happened in the first place.

We are so glad that you enjoyed the house and the location! It was definitely unfortunate that so many things went wrong at once during your stay, but I am glad that we were able to resolve them all quickly for you- we are always very attentive to our renters needs immediately. We also hope you enjoyed the gifts we left for the inconvenience and that you will come back soon!
My group had an amazing stay at this property. The house was clean and as advertised in the listing. The beach access was amazing, right down the street and offered a beautiful and secluded area of beach. The host was helpful in any concerns we had prior to and during the trip. I highly recommend this property.
We had a lovely stay at the house - it was well laid out, well stocked and immaculate. Easy check in. Plenty of space for our group of 3 adults and 3 children. Great location close to beach, village and local activities. Gorgeous quiet neighborhood.

Great weekend getaway
The communication with the host was very prompt. This area was nice and quiet. Very spacious sleeping areas (4 separate rooms with multiple beds in two of them). Great stay in Montauk.
Beautiful, clean house however not the best for the vertically challenged!
The house was beautiful and very clean. The property manager was easy to work and always responded to emails in a timely manner. We did have some issues with the very tall cabinets. Very difficult to reach plates, bowls, glassware, etc. Even though a step stool was provided, it was still not very easily accessible for a couple of ladies in their upper 50’s and 60’s who are all under 5’5” tall. Another issue was that there wasn’t a pantry closet for storage for all of the food that we brought with us for the weekend. We had to leave everything in bags on the floor. Regardless of these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this rental.
