Fun time

We had a pretty good time. Check in was easy, host was great, beds were comfortable. I loved the small town. We wished it would've been easier to get to the beach, but we managed. We ate at The Tides restaurant from The Birds, we saw seals, sea lions, wild turkeys, and deer. Had a coyote right outside the house one night. Went to sandy beaches and rocky beaches. Went wine tasting. It was fun.

Great time at the Bodega House

We had a great time at the Bodega House. My family used to have a house at Wrights Beach so we know Bodega Bay well but we didn't go to Salmon Creek very often. The house location was perfect, it's on the main highway but set back enough that it wasn't an issue. We were able to easily cross the road to take the trail to the Bell Tower and a little coffee shop. There is also a trail to walk to Salmon Creek. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the games and the upstairs loft. The loft could use a light and some other things to sit on but it was still fun for them. We will definitely be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the BEST place I have ever rented! ! It is right next to hwy 1, perfect location. It is less than 5 mins to those famous restaurants eg fisherman cove, Poud crab, and the tides, and all other popular local candy stores. And we particularly drive to beaches daily and some are less than 5 mins drive away, it makes the trip so easy for us! Bodega head is like 10mins away and Petaluma historic downtown is like 45 mins away . The house is spacious, huge living room, big kitchen and bedrooms. I have a little kid who had wonderful time playing in door daily. He enjoyed the sunroom and loft area so much. This place is newly remodeled with great taste and very clean. The staff is very helpful, they picked up my call and provided quick solution like 9pm. The big game room with sand bags is wonderful for little kid. Every morning, we wake up with seeing cows and horse from next door ranch with hill views, it is just very beautiful and fun! This place can easily fit 6 people, and I would highly recommend it if you plan to go to bodega bay! My only suggestion is to place a clock in living room.

Disappointed and frustrated

The property in general seemed to be good… however when we arrived and started getting settled into the bedrooms, we quickly found one of the rooms to be over run with moths. So much so that we had to close off the bedroom and not use it the entire time. I did reach out to the property manager the next day. They came out and hung a fly strip in the closet of that room, but we still were unable to use that bedroom for our stay. We also found small cockroaches in the kitchen. They even managed to get into my son’s medical supply bag!! Like I mentioned to the property management company, I understand these things can happen, but it’s not okay to rent a house out in these conditions. Especially at the price we paid. When I sent them a message to let them know, we simply got a “thanks for the feedback” no apology for the inconvenience or anything. Truly disappointed and wouldn’t stay there again.
