This place has enormous charm! The living room is huge and looks like the living room of an antique farmhouse that could be in Architectural Digest. The house has a stunningly good location south of the Montauk Highway and very close to two beaches, Gibson Beach and Sagg Main Beach, each just a 3 or 4-minute bike ride or 2-min drive according to Google. That's important because parking requires a seasonal sticker or 40/day fee. The house is also just a short drive to Bridgehampton with all its restaurants and shops. The kitchen is equipped with every gadget you might need. The appliances aren't new but function well, so no problem for the cooks in our family. The bedrooms are all attractive, and the master bedroom is huge and very pretty. The three bedrooms on the second floor have ACs, and the bedrooms on the third floor have fans and a good ocean breeze. The house has a lovely patio, perfect for relaxing in the shade during the day and for cocktails or dinner in the evening. The back yard is large and has a picnic table and large gas grill. The host, Anna, was easy to communicate with and responsive to my few requests. The only two quibbles: there are only two queen beds, neither of which is in the master bedroom and the driveway is single lane, so to get the first car out, you have to move those parked behind it. In summary, this place is excellent for anyone wanting a very relaxing vacation in a lovely and extraordinarily well-located Hamptons neighborhood.
