NEW Peaceful Studio Unit - 3 Blocks from the beach

Enjoy a peaceful getaway at this centrally located studio. Brand new, updated and luxurious studio just three blocks from the beach and 1 block from the main street of Ocean Beach.

This serene, recently remodeled beach studio is 3 blocks from the ocean and is on the same block with coffee shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. The charming studio has a queen size bed with an organic Avocado brand mattress, full bathroom, kitchenette to include all serving ware, utensils, a small refrigerator, toaster oven, and warming plate. It is fully stocked for your weekend beach getaway or as a calm work from home space. This unit does have a window AC Unit but it is not central AC. We are located at 1955 Cable Street Ocean Beach, CA 92107.

Parking Information- There is one parking space available to be reserved at a rate of $15/day or $75/week. Please contact Nick on the App to arrange this. Otherwise, there is street parking around the unit.

*Please note: This private unit does share an adjoining wall with another one of our beach studios, similar to a hotel room. You will have your own private entrance and private space for the duration of the stay.

Good location to the beach and walking distance to all restaurants which was great for convenience! The room did get very warm on our 2nd night and was hard to cool down even with the small a/c unit in the room. The host was hard to get in touch with prior to our stay to set up parking reservations but other than that everything went smoothly.

Host was very responsive to any questions we had. Location was amazing, close to shops, beach, restaurants. You can hear some traffic from the sidewalks and streets when people walk by but nothing ear plugs couldn't keep out while sleeping. We also stayed on a Friday night so nightlife was in full swing but not a nuisance at all.

The unit was very clean and well maintained, and the location is top-notch. It’s an easy walk to the beach, coffee shops, and stores, which made getting around very convenient. We also appreciated the bikes that were available and made good use of them during our stay.A few things could be improved. The A/C and fan weren’t powerful enough to keep the unit cool, so it became quite hot inside. Since there were no windows that could be opened for fresh air, the space stayed warm and uncomfortable. A more powerful air conditioner would make a big difference.The main wall is a floor-to-ceiling window facing a busy street, which reduced privacy. One suggestion would be to consider adding a secondary lock or additional security feature on the entrance door, as the property is in a shared space with other occupants. That would provide guests with extra peace of mind.Overall, the excellent location, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities made for a good stay, but improving the cooling system and adding an extra security measure would make the experience even better.

We had a wonderful stay in Ocean Beach! The paid parking spot was easy to find and nice to have so we didn’t have to worry about finding street parking. Check-in was super easy with the code access gate/door. Our unit was super clean and had the perfect amount of room for 2 people. You really can’t get any better for price per night and proximity to the Main Street of shops and beach.

I can’t say enough about this place! It was comfortable, especially the bed. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. And, the bathroom as well. The host responded right away when I had questions. I highly recommend staying here!

Loud neighbor partying.. paper thin walls. Had to leave in the middle of the night and find a different place to stay. Not a quiet place. We’ve stayed at multiple VRBO’s and never had an experience this bad. Property management gave us 75 off and and upgrade for the next night. Offered 200 and to stay in same room. We were left hanging for hours between communications. I will say, places were very clean, the beds were super comfy, manager was polite during communication and upgrade was great. I would not recommend this place if someone is staying next door.. you can hear Everything they are doing.

Ocean Beach Studio

Cute studio in OB. Very clean and communication with the owner was flawless. They accommodated us throughout our stay and happily answered any questions we had. I only have two less than ideal things worth mentioning and they are small. One, there is no AC you can control in the studio. Luckily the weather is great in San Diego so it wasn’t an issue for us. Two, the walls are a little thin. You can hear any TV or phone from bordering apartments easily. Really it’s not even the walls it’s a door that I believe leads to the other apartment. That’s where the sound pollution came from. Let’s talk location….INCREDIBLE. Within a 2 min walk you have multiple restaurant and bar options. This apartment is a block away from the main strip. The beach is super close as well, 3 blocks and you are there. The owners provide beach towels and chairs for you which is a major plus. To top it all off, the owner has bikes for you to ride. We loved this! It is by far the best way to get around town or even to sunset cliffs (short bike ride south). The common space outside the apartments is awesome and inviting as well.We had so much fun in OB. As a couple in their 30s with no kids we could not have asked for a better place to spend a few nights while exploring all that San Diego has to offer.
