About this property
Lake/Mountain view 2 dogs ok btwn Castle & Laconia 15 min, 5 ski resorts 30-40m
This spacious and comfortable home is perfect for your year round getaway.
Conveniently located by Center Harbor (2min), between Meredith Bay (8min) and Castle in the Clouds (15 min) off of rt 25 (North route around Lake Winnipesaukee). Minutes from hiking, shopping, thrifting / antiquing options, fine dining, comfort food or dinners, arcades, and live entertainment.
Comfortable plush mattresses with cotton linensextra pillows and plenty of storage decided in 3 spacious bedrooms. 1 master king bed, 1 queen bed, and 2 bank beds ( sleep 4). Full size pullout couch with support boards in living room sleeps an extra 2.
Parking passes ( needed Memorial Day to Labor Day) provided for the 2 local beaches ( Center Harbor and Long Island Road beach ) minutes away. Famous Weirs beach is 15 minutes away. Lake Kanasatka boat launch is 3 houses over, with Trexler's Marina, Meredith Bay, Canter Harbor and Squam Lake boat launches / rental, water falls, hiking trails all within 15 minutes away.
Located between 5 ski resorts (Loon and Waterville Valley, King Pine Resorts 40 minutes, Gunstock, Abenaki 30 minutes), snow shoeing, cross country skiing trails, and snowmobile trails.
Enjoy lake and mountain views from our oversized family room. Cozy up to the entertainment center electric fireplace for movie night (DVDs and streaming options available) in our spacious sectional couch that sits 5 -6 comfortably. Relax with your favorite book or beverage in one of 4 recliners by the gas stove fireplace. We offer several good reads, and family friendly board games for game night.
Our well stocked kitchen has a full spice rack, a plethora of pots & pans and dining sets, with a 4 slice toaster, microwave, oven etc , even a waffle maker and a panini press.
The screened in porch is heated and offers an option for outdoor dining or board games while also enjoying the view. Portable floor fan is also available.
Additional outdoor enjoyment awaits by the covered patio behind the garage with a gas fire pit table 8 chairs and a hammock, or further down towards the lake by the wood fire pit surrounded by 5 comfy Adirondack chairs.
We have added a dartboard (plastic tips), foosball table, oversized table top connect four, 2 snow sleds, and snowshoe sets for guest use in the garage. Tetherball, corn hole, oversized Jenga blocks, and ring toss games are also stored outside of garage for further outdoor enjoyment in our huge back yard.
Unfortunately we do not have direct lake access, just the lovely view, but the boat launch and larger lake access are a 5 minute walk away.
On long weekends and holidays we require a 3-day stay. June 15 to Labor Day we require 7 day stays Saturday to Saturday ( we may consider lesser duration stays within a 30 day window).
On stays longer than or equal to 28 days we require a one time extra 50$ cleaning fee.

About the host
Hosted by Nicholas Stamoulos
We reside in the Northern Boston suburbs, but we have Greek and Colombian backgrounds. Carolina is also fluent in French.
We are fairly well traveled. We also are blessed with two lady teenagers and a 5 year old black lab named Toby.
New Hampshire has always been a favorite destination for us, offering majestic mountain views and hikes as well as snow or waterway adventures. Something to enjoy year round.
In our travels we always appreciated the comfort, affordability, spaciousness, and convenience of staying at a Sort Term Rental. We also love to cook and entertain with friends which you can not do at a hotel.
In all we fell in love with the peaceful view and convenient location of our 2nd home. We put a lot of care, effort and love in updating it, not only making it cozy and comfortable, but also a practical gathering spot for friends or family.
Unfortunately our busy schedules do not allow us to stay on a regular basis and definitely not during the week.
Having family members that love hosting on VRBO, we decided to host ourselves instead of having our place vacant for long stretches of time.
We created peaceful indoor and outdoor spaces with relaxing lighting to complement the distant view of the shimmering lake, and the many moods and faces of the overlooking Red Hill Mountain.
We hope to share the sense of relaxation, rejuvenation, reconnection or plain joy we experience there with all who visit or stay!

Why they chose this property
Moultonborough is very peaceful. It offers several boat launches, beaches, ski mobiling trails, hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic vistas. We also love browsing general stores and antiques and are enjoying the town options.
What makes this property unique
Having over 1 acre of land with Lake and Mountain views from several indoor and outdoor spaces, we truly feel that we're able to " get away from it all". Yet being very close to two boat launches, Center Harbor, and a few minutes each way between beautiful Meredith Bay and Scenic Castle in the Clouds we are able to quickly access whatever practical or entertainment needs we may have.
Our place also has several unique pieces like our custom-made 10-seater dining room table and chairs that were shipped all the way from Costa Rica. Our colorful and comfortable hammock was brought to us from Colombia.
We have 3 areas where you can comfortably enjoy the lake / mountain view outdoors. Our screened in porch has 2 electric patio heaters and allows for outdoor dining year round. The covered paved patio has a gas fire pit 8 chairs and a hammock. Our wood fire pit is closer to the lake with 5 Adirondack chairs.
More importantly, we're able to host several families affordably, and comfortably, with plenty of parking and things to do on site.
