About Cortni Harant
My family has a long history in the area spanning back to the late 1800's on both sides but I just returned to the area in 2008. I bought the property in 2009 and have been working on it since. I currently work in Great Falls and finished the house in the spring of 2012 and look forward to sharing my dream with you and yours. West Glacier and Glacier National Park are truly stunning and I hope you will find our home comfortable, inviting and inspiring. I am an artist/teacher hope my unique sensibilities highlight the beauty of the area and nature.
Cortni Harant purchased this Cabin in 2009
Why Cortni Harant chose West Glacier
The area is stunning and my rich family history brought a sense of kinship with canyon, the Bob Marshal Wilderness, the Great Bear, and, of course, Glacier National Park, the Crown Jewel of the Continent.
What makes this Cabin unique
My home is situated on nearly 2.5 wooded acres with a clearing in the center providing you a sense of seclusion while still being close enough to others that there is a sense of safety. It is just a hop skip and a jump to area attractions including the Amazing Fun Center, restaurants, bars, a grocery store, bakery, rafting, helicopter tours, etc.

Beautiful and peaceful cabin close to the park.
My family and I were in love with this home. It was a treat to stay at such a nice place. It was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and well appointed. The yard was perfect for our young children to run and play. We occasionally got to see some very large deer roam through the backyard. The close proximity to Glacier Park was very convenient. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. I will definitely try to stay here again if we come back to the area.
We would love to host you again! Glad you enjoyed our home.
Was perfect for a large family. Celebrating my daughters wedding!
Super, spacious home with lots of character, very convenient for west glacier
We loved staying in King's cabin , a very comfortable and spacious log house with an enormous living area and wonderful decking area. It is really conveniently located just half an hour from the airport and so close to the park and white water rafting ,
Great location for Glacier National Park
We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive and gave us clear and helpful directions/tips. It is very close to Glacier National Park, which is why we were visiting, so we were pleased with the location. When we stopped at the lodges in the Park for some of our activities and were surrounded by mobs of tourists, we were immediately grateful that we had a nice quiet cabin to return to at the end of the day. It helped us to enjoy our “get away from it all” vacation. I can’t think of a single complaint. I recommend this cabin.
Highly recommend King's Cabin
Lovely and comfortable cabin! The kids loved the loft area and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and we had some rousing singalongs with the guitar and accordion (that my 8 year old now claims she can play...). Having wi-fi access was a nice perk. The location is fantastic, just a few miles from the west entrance to GNP and just around the corner from Glacier Guides/Montana Raft, a great rafting company. Beautiful scenery and quiet neighborhood--one of the highlights of our stay was seeing a mama deer and her fawn in the woods beyond the firepit! Cortni (the owner) was wonderful to work with, very accessible and helpful. Would highly recommend this wonderful cabin for your Glacier National Park adventure.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It always makes my heart sing to hear when a guest so enjoys themselves. Hope to see you and your crew in Glacier again soon.
Great Home for a Large Group
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the King's Cabin. We really enjoyed the location to Glacier National Park and Whitefish. We enjoyed using the fire pit on the property and seeing wildlife (deer) in the mornings. The home worked great for our large group. We would recommend this home and discussed using the house if we return to Glacier.
Glacier National Park is listed as one of the top 100 places to see due to its spectacular views and amazing outdoor activites and is located a mere 2 miles from the front door of this VRBO!
