PRESQUE NOUVEAU! CABINE DE RANDONNÉE à West Glacier

Cette nouvelle cabane en rondins de 1110 pieds carrĂ©s se trouve dans un emplacement parfait. DerriĂšre la porte est le terrain de golf Glacier View et Ă  la porte d'entrĂ©e la Middle Fork de la riviĂšre Flathead qui offre une excellente pĂȘche Ă  la truite. Nous sommes Ă  West Glacier qui offre le meilleur accĂšs Ă  tous les coins du parc national des Glaciers; y compris la cĂ©lĂšbre "Going to the Sun Highway", la North Fork Road, semblable Ă  l'Alaska, et les routes de l'arriĂšre-pays dans le Bob Marshall Wilderness.

AprĂšs une longue journĂ©e de randonnĂ©e, de rafting, de pĂȘche ou de dĂ©couverte du parc, vous adorerez revenir dans cette maison confortable. La cabine est construite avec des billes de pin bleu massif et un savoir-faire de poteau et de poutre. Dans la grande salle, il y a un plafond cathĂ©drale et un poĂȘle Ă  bois. Un loft ajoute de l'espace pour que les enfants puissent jouer ou regarder la tĂ©lĂ©vision sur le tĂ©lĂ©viseur Ă  Ă©cran plat. Les comptoirs en granit, les appareils en acier inoxydable et les armoires en cerisier dans la cuisine offrent un cadre idĂ©al pour la cuisson d'une tarte aux myrtilles!

L'intérieur élégant et rustique a des planchers de bois franc et un escalier en bois récupéré. Il y a une chambre Queen à l'étage avec demi-bain et une mezzanine avec un futon complet pour dormir deux autres. Au rez-de-chaussée, une chambre avec lit queen et salle de bain complÚte. Il y a aussi une laveuse et une sécheuse au rez-de-chaussée.

Détendez-vous sur le porche couvert à ossature bois avec une boisson aprÚs une longue journée de randonnée ou de barbecue dans la cour arriÚre.

Cabin is just as lovely as the photos suggest. So clean and well stocked. Beds comfy. Porch was the best for transitioning from active day to restful evening. Owner extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Close to Glacier park, little more than walking distance and away from main traffic. Took me a bit to figure out how to optimize the temperature inside on hot days and some of the rooms stay warm (AC didn’t reach). But once I figured it out, it was good. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful cabin. One of the most organized and generously stocked stays!!Its proximity to park and groceries is incredible! The hosts are very responsive and everything we needed was already provided. All kitchen utensils, soaps of all kind AND ironing board provided as well.We made our first bonfire, S'mores, and built lifelong memories with our kid and watched milky ways in the sky afterwards. We really felt home at this cabin and felt love in it!! Thank you Mona & Family for opening your cabin to welcome us. If this cabin is available, JUST RENT IT!!

If there weren’t so many more national parks to visit we’d stay here again with no hesitation and plan our trip around when it was available. Hosts were so friendly and made their cabin so welcoming. Perfect location close to park entrance and food/shops. Quiet street across from river. Was fun to see the rafting trip buses come and go. Perfect home away from home for a family.

This cabin was the best place to relax after a long day in the park. In fact, my children wanted to spend all the vacation at the cabin. It has a great location for park access! It was super clean and had all amenities anyone could imagine including a guitar and a ukulele! There is also a nice grill and fire pit to gather around and spend time discussing the next park adventure or reliving the days incredible experiences and building those quality family memories! I can’t say enough good things about this cabin. Can’t wait to come back here again!

This cabin is perfectly located to explore the West Glacier side of GNP. It was homey, very clean and well stocked. Appreciated the box fans too - not something you find in most VRBOs. Communication with the owner was great too.

Glacier Getaway

Hiker’s Cabin was a perfect spot for our GNP vacation. After a long, fun day in the park, there was no long drive - it’s right there and has just enough services nearby - restaurants, market etc. The cabin itself is beautiful and smartly laid out, making it practical as well as comfortable. There was room for the four of us to relax. We loved the outdoor eating spaces and being able to walk down to the river. Check in and check out was a breeze. Mona was great with communication. We would stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

Hikers Cabin Dream

This Hikers Cabin is a dream for visitors to Glacier National Park. It rates 5 stars on all accounts. This charming log cabin is in perfect condition and located within minutes of the West Glacier Park entrance, dining out, supplies, and activities. The cabin was well stocked with supplies and everything you need for a comfy stay. The book collection has something for everyone to read and guides for visiting the park. They even supply firewood.

Awesome experience

The hikers cabin was the perfect place to stay while visiting the area, the neighborhood is quiet, the deer are almost tame, and the cabin is as beautiful as the backdrop in which it sits. Thank you Mike and Mona, we definitely need to visit in the future.

Perfect location and Excellent Accommodations

The cabin was conveniently located just outside of the West Entrance of Glacier National Park. In addition, you can walk a short distance to Flathead River. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, including basic pantry items. We highly recommend this cabin.

What a convenient place to stay, minutes from West entrance to Glacier, and west glacier village. After staying here we went to east Glacier and many times missed our stay here. Everything you need is there. Washer and dryer huge plus. Just a very comfortable stay.

Hiker's Cabin-just awesome!

We can't think of one thing we didn't like about this beautiful cabin. The location to the West Glacier entrance, when you are outside the park, is as good as it gets. The cabin is beautiful and in a peaceful location but so close to restaurants, gas stations and shops. We had cell service with AT&T and a WiFi password was provided at check-in. VRBO information was accurate.

Montana vacation

Staying in this cabin was absolutely a dream! As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. Clean, perfect location, and all of the amenities of being at home.

Owners Mike and Mona are from Montana and Alaska. After 10 years in Alaska we wanted a cabin in an area similar to "The Last Frontier"..but better weather!

As avid hikers the North Fork Road towards Canada is almost identical to the Alaska interior-glaciated streams, grizzly bears, rugged peaks, and bad roads!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Mona is a wild berry nut and Mike spends as much free time as possible testing new fishing areas.

Huckleberries are found by mid July- as well as thimble berries, service berries, chokecherries, and many others.

The fishing can be excellent. Although most people travel to Montana for the trout fishing (which is walking distance); within 30 minutes of the cabin you can find bass, huge pike, lake trout, and pan fish.
Golfing is relatively inexpensive here- you can walk to the club house. In the summer you can buy a drink and basic dinner food at the club house for a very reasonable price.

There are only a handful of properties like this one. Our place is new, rustic, classy, and what you hope for in a place like Montana. Although we are in West Glacier, we are a mile from the noise of the train and highway.
