About the property

Located at 39 Deer Run Lane, this recently renovated home is the perfect location for your beach vacation. The open concept floor plan combines the kitchen, living and dining room areas and overlooks the deck, screened in porch and new pool with spa. All furnishing, finishes, and fixtures are new.

The main living room has a large flat screen TV and surround sound system. Enjoy the TV or views of the lagoon on the 2 full size sofas, one of which is a queen sleeper. A built in desk provides a place to stay connected through the free WiFi access.

The kitchen has all new appliances, granite counters and all of the cooking tools you need. There is also an outdoor grill to enjoy cooking by the pool. The countertop bar area provides additional seating for 4. The dining room seats 6 and the screened in porch has another table for 6.

The house has a master bedroom with adjoining bath and two guest bedrooms with two full baths. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV. The master has a king bed and full size sleeper sofa. The master bath has a soaking tub and a separate full size glass door shower. The front guest bedroom has a queen bed and day bed with trundle. The second guest bedroom has a queen bed.

The screened in porch provides relaxing views of the pool and lagoon and allows you to enjoy the evening bug free. The house is only a short walk or bike ride to the beach.

Another great week!

If possible, we loved your house even more on our second visit. It was perfect: from the location, to the comfortable (yet stylish) furnishings, to the heated pool/spa, the screened porch, the pool floats in the garage, the view,the complete kitchen.. the list goes on and on! The little things in your home really added up to make up our really wonderful Spring Break week in Sea Pines. As a family, we have agreed that this is the house we will be staying in during our future trips to HHI

Great home for perfect vacation

This home was great and a perfect choice for our family vacation for 8 people (2 young kids) every room was just right. Home was clean and well furnished (other than no cookie sheets and no knives that can cut anything) Screened porch is perfect for peaceful meal. and the pool is awesome.

Lovely home in a great location

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home with our three young children! The location was perfect; an easy walk to the beach and a comfortable bike ride to harbour town! The house was cleaned very well upon arrival and although we had a small issue with sugar ants on the back patio (which can easily happen in an outdoor dining area), it was resolved very quickly with a call to maintenance. The pool was perfect with morning shade, a little afternoon sun and the late afternoon shade again! The house is extremely well equipped with everything you could need and so organized, which we LOVED! The pictures don't do it justice, this place is comfortably and beautifully decorated and extremely well maintained. We can't wait to return to HHI and will definitely be renting this home again!

Perfect for us

We loved this home and the location. For 2 adults and a toddler, it was perfect. The view at night of the lagoon is awesome and the beach is 2 minutes away. We will be staying again!

Great House with a Great Pool!

We just stayed in this lovely house and had a great time. House comfortably slept 6 people and is in great condition. We loved the pool/hot tub and having nightly cocktails on the screened-in porch. :) Having multiple tvs was great for our family. Family room is equipped with surround sound system.

House is seconds away from bike path. Kids loved biking to Harbour Town and other hot spots.

We have 3 young kids so we did not walk to the beach each day but you could easily walk if you didn't have a lot to carry. Beach access is a short bike ride.

I would just advise families that beach supplies were a little thin and there are no kids board games, movies, etc. There was not even a deck of cards in the house. A suggestion for the owners- a few kids games or movies would be great. Thanks!

Perfect home for our family vacation.

We stayed at this home with our 2 children (ages 4 and 1) and another family with 1 child (2.5 years) and the layout/size was perfect. The sliding glass doors that lead to the deck/pool all had child-proof locks, which made us very happy. The living area is quite large and spread out and the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house so there is plenty of privacy. The master has a large walk in closet that was large enough to put our son's pack n play for him to sleep in and we didn't have to worry about him being disturbed by any noises. The best part of the house is the pool and screened in porch. The pool gets plenty of sun but still has areas of shade as well as plenty of chairs and an umbrella for shade. The view of the lagoon is beautiful also. It is about a 5-10 min walk to the beach path and a short drive/bike ride to Salty Dog. Our only complaints were: #1) thermostat cannot be adjusted. During the day it is set to 74 and I believe goes up slightly from there overnight. The master bedroom got stuffy overnight so we would have liked the ability to turn it down a bit. During the day, for the most part, 74 was fine. #2) – we were told upon booking that we could still use the hot tub even if we did not heat the pool. Upon arriving, we were told that the jets in the hot tub could only be used if the spa heat was on. So basically, we were never able to use the hot tub, which is one of the reasons we chose this house. And $300 to heat the spa for the week is just over the top, in our opinion. #3) – there were 2 propane tanks with the grill, both of which were empty. We called Maintenance, who told us that the tanks were our responsibility, which means that we had to have a tank filled in order to use the grill 2-3 times during our stay AND then leave the tank for the next guests. This made no sense. We have been to HHI many times and have NEVER had to fill our own propane tank. Overall though, we would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Owner's Response: I am glad you enjoyed your stay, but we wish you would have let us know of your concerns as they should not have been an issue. A guest can adjust the temperature on the thermostat 4 degrees up and down from the set point. We can also adjust the set point remotely if that is desired. The propane tanks should have been replaced by Sea Pines, so I am checking with them to see why they were not. On the spa, I was informed by the pool company that when there is heavy rain and wind they lock out the jets to avoid debris getting into the system. The spa jets can be turned on if requested. We encourage our guests to let us know if there are any issues during their stay so we can work with Sea Pines to make sure things are working as they should. We want to ensure our guests are fully satisfied, but we can only do that with your help in letting us know of concerns during your stay if Sea Pines is not able to resolve it to your satisfaction.
