About this property
King Tent Site - Hillside Upper Loop - Wilderness Without the Work!
These King Tent Sites invite you deeper into the woods — perched at a higher elevation in a mature forest that feels quieter, shadier, and tucked away. Great for guests who don’t mind a bit of adventure with their comfort: expect a longer stroll, more stairs, and a peaceful sense of being truly immersed in the trees. The reward is worth it! Guests love these sites. The hillside sites are located about 500–750 feet from the Base Lodge (roughly a 5-minute walk) along a rugged footpath. Modern portable restrooms are within 400 feet. Each tent is warmed by a wood-burning stove, making it cozy and comfortable in every season. A nearby modern bathhouse offers four bathrooms and showers, open 24 hours a day, fully stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hairdryers. Wi-Fi is intentionally not available at the tents (but device charging is!), helping you truly disconnect. Wi-Fi is available at our Base Lodge if you need to check in with the outside world. There is no electricity at your site, but there is a Jackery power station to help you charge any device.
Here’s everything available for your site — you’ll select your specific gear after you book, and then we'll make sure it's here for you. Close to planned outings but still off the beaten path. Tent and supplies were impressive. Mosquitos didn't make for a good night's sleep, but that's nature for you.
