Redbird Retreat is a dog friendly cozy cottage nestled in a wooded acre next to a national forest. There are many beautiful parks, walking/hiking trails and waterfalls to enjoy year round. Lake Nottely is very close by which offers lots of fun family activities and we are also close to the newly open Harrah's Casino in Murphy, NC!

Great private location which conveniently near the charming town of Blairsville.

A very comfortable house with everything you need to relax after a day out exploring. The deck is a plus to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening . Quiet neighborhood where I enjoyed a morning walk. Host Robin was very accommodating when I made a request to check in before 4 pm. I hope to return next time I am in Blairsville.

Such a cute house!

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the comfort & coziness of this house! A big pet peeve in VRBOs for us is when the furniture is just not comfortable- happy to say that the couch and recliner were both great! After touring around all day it was great to come home to Redbird Retreat. We also really appreciated the small fenced dog area. We would definitely stay there again!

We were very pleased with the Redbird Retreat. Nice neighborhood fairly quiet (neighbors have dogs), the house was clean and comfortable. Check in and out was very easy. We would love to come back when we can stay longer.

The property was very easy to find! Everything was exceptionally clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was nicely appointed. Robin (the owner) was very kind and responsive to any questions I had. Would absolutely stay there again!

There was a strong odor of mildew and the house was damp inside. Bedding had an odor. Pillows were flat. Paint is chipped off the walls. Things seemed worn out and old, shabby but not in a chic way.The owner was responsive to us and we appreciated her service. But I can't recommend this place.

The property owner has quick response times and even went out of her way to fix a slight issue. The house was easy to find and even though the beds were firm they were perfect for my back pain problem which is a huge plus! Everything we needed was provided for our short stay. And the location is perfect for being secluded but close enough to get out and a bout.

We both live and work in the Atlanta area and have for many years. Each of us own our own "retreat" in Blairsville and spend many weekends and holidays. Through the years our family and friends have grown to love the area as much as we do. When the opportunity came up, we bought Redbird Retreat so we can now share the loveliness of the area with everyone.
We hope you love it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

There are so many things to see and do in the North GA Mountains and all year round. Lots of festivals and events, beautiful lakes, parks and waterfalls. A lot of walking trails, wonderful places to eat and close to the new Harrah Casino in Murphy, NC. Redbird Retreat is close to it all!
