Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Close all the shades in the house and turn off the thermostat. The thermostat is located to the left of the TV on the third floor.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No loud noise (inside or outside) between 10pm to 8am. No loud noise outside at any time (e.g. no screaming, loud music, use of loud machinery, etc.)
No jacuzzi use between 10pm and 8am. Do not adjust the temperature of the jacuzzi. Do not attempt to turn the jacuzzi off.
Small gatherings (10 people or less) are OK if you ensure no parking in driveway, respect neighbors, and observe quiet hours which begin at 10pm.

Beautiful home in a great area. The location is so close to everything. Walking distance to downtown Mission Hills. A short drive to the beach or downtown. The home was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we would need to make dinner. There are even 2 different coffee makers. The home has great views; we even saw fireworks in the distance one night. The beds were very comfy, and I loved the shower in the primary. A/C was great during a very hot week. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and thorough. Monica was great with communicating and quick to reply. We would definitely stay at the Hillside Oasis again!

Cold showers and a temperamental AC for over 600 a night is ridiculous! This is a decent home, but clearly needs some TLC. The nightly price is far too high considering the cheap, unreliable amenities. We encountered many electrical issues which resulted in the air conditioning shutting off many times overnight as well as the water heater not working. The bath plug in the second floor bathroom would not stay put - I had to plug the drain using a hand towel. Additionally, the outdoor surveillance, particularly around the hot tub and outdoor shower, made me and my guests incredibly uncomfortable. I thought there would only be cameras at the front entrances of the home. The smart cameras in place followed us as we showered and rested in the hot tub which feels like an unnecessary violation of privacy. I also felt that the peeling paint along the stairway handrails and the stained living room rug did not match the property listing. The bedroom attached to the garage is a stale, creepy room with no natural light. Bedrooms in the state of California are required to have natural light. Although there are many great things about this home, like the location, the comfortable beds, the shower, and kitchen, we also encountered safety and security concerns, cold showers, and electricity issues. The pictures and description do not match my experience. We had a poor stay overall. The host did not reply to my message regarding these concerns, so I am opening an investigation with Vrbo.

Nice place with everything you need for a stay. The host was very responsive and nice. This place is very vertical, you will constantly verify going up and down stairs so be aware of that. The hot tub was not functional for our visit. It was milky (chemical imbalance) and set to 80 degrees. That was my biggest issue. Outside of the place there are a ton of spider webs that need to be cleaned, they had been there for some time.
