Very spacious rooms and nice place. It was difficult to control room temperature with the gas heating stove in living room. Otherwise very comfortable. Loved the kitchen!
The home was clean, comfortable and had lovely views! The hammock on the porch was perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. The hot tub was also wonderful!
Very comfortable home with split bedroom design. Kitchen was well stocked, and otherwise BBQ is just steps away!We went whale watching from the marina nearby and saw Orcas, Sea lions, Eagles and more. Such a beautiful place to stay!
This place is perfect for a small family, it has everything that you might need. We appreciate that the two rooms were at the opposite end of the house, it allowed for privacy. Ryan was great at communicating, and we’re definitely going to stay here again soon.
Our stay was great. However, there were no instructions for certain things. For example, check in was a little confusing. We didn’t know exactly which house we were staying at and took a little figuring out. The personalized door code was a great touch, that way you can’t get locked out, very nice!!! We had to figure out how to use the hot tub, it went into a system lock one night and there were no instructions how to get it out, luckily we were able to figure it out. There were also no instructions on how to check out, so when it came to the wet towels, bedding, and dishes we had no guidance, so we just did what we have done at other VRBO’s and stripped the beds, put the wet towels in the bath, and hand washed some of the dishes but left them out to dry. The last thing I think that was a little frustrating was that the area has no cell service so it’s impossible to call for assistance. The overall stay was great. Wonderful location, beautiful scenery, very cozy, house was very clean, and the BBQ restaurant right next door was awesome!!!
Ryan Carpenter grew up at the Historic Deer Harbor Inn and purchased the Bluff, Sunset, and Harbor View Suite from his parents in 2006 and has happily been hosting guests since.
