Lake Lure is waiting for you at this romantic 440 ft2 retreat. Perfect getaway for anyone celebrating a last minute anniversary or honeymoon on a budget. This cabin is centrally located to the popular tourist activities in Lake Lure, Mill Spring and Chimney Rock.

Cook some kabobs on the charcoal grill, dine on the screened-in pouch or sit in the rocking chair in front of the fire pit. The huge front covered pouch also offers comfy seating so guests can relax and get lost in a good book.

The living room/kitchen area has a 50" smart tv (with guest mode) to stream their favorite shows while sitting on the couch, or eating at the kitchen bar. Carl has also added Netflix.

The bedroom has a 43" smart tv, and comfortable queen bed with pillows and white noise machine to help lull you to sleep. Minimal light filters through the closed blinds, ensuring guest can have a pleasent rest through the morning.

With amenities like a well stocked kitchen, AC, hair dryer and Wifi with 200mb, you have most everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Lake Lure Ingles grocery store is conveniently located just a little over a mile from the cabin.

Excellent launching pad for exploring the charming towns of Mill Spring, Lake Lure, Columbus, Tryon, Saluda, as well as great for taking day trips to Asheville, Hendersonville, Blowing Rock, Black Mountain and more!

This was a beautiful cabin. The host was very nice and was there if we needed anything. Communication was great with the host. We will definitely be returning. Very peaceful and beautiful.

Overall great experience!!If you need a nice quiet weekend out of town this is the cabin! Great restaurants near by and 15mins from Chimney Rock if you want to go shopping or hike. There's a small beach access close by and other activities to do. But to be honest the back porch is the reason to not go anywhere its perfect for you and your partner to play music and play games and just spend time with each other. Mr. Carl will make sure there's enough fire wood for you to make your fire and let me tell you, if you are not roasting a honey bun over the fire you are not living your vacation right lol. Thank you so much we will most definitely be back!!

The host was very welcoming when we arrived gave us a tour of the cabin and it was beautiful and the best part was he made it all by hand ! I had a wonderful stay there !

Most perfect little get away! The host was very friendly and helpful. The place was quaint and has the most comfortable bed EVER! Very relaxing and peaceful. The place is beautiful and has lots to do nearby. We went to chimney rock and then went into town and grabbed lunch before relaxing at the house. 10/10 will recommend to anyone and already looking at our calendar to see when we can come back!

Thanks, Julia & Michael. It's been a long hard road sense hurricane Helene devastated Lake Lure, but today we are back even stronger! The lake will open up and open on Memorial day and we can't wait! Hope to see you all this summer.

Everyone has a nervous feeling when they rent a hotel or vrbo. Its natural to be worried a certain property meets your expectations. Carl was a great host. His propery was clean and very well organized. We liked all of the little items on hand at the cabin. It was priced affordable and was a stress free overnight rental from beginning to end. Great place if your looking for a gem!

Host was amazing and very friendly. His communication is excellent not only did he communicate before our stay he checked in to make sure everything was good after. Highly recommend. Cabin is very comfy, neat, well organized, and clean. Kitchen had everything you need to fix any home meal you can imagine. Will stay again!

I truly enjoyed my stay! Let’s stay off saying that the cabin is Beautiful! Put together so nicely and everything had me amazed! I was in awe!!! The pics do this place no justice, so very beautiful!! Carl was an amazing host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nice! We will be back!!!

A Touch of Whimsy is Exceptional!!!From the moment we arrived, this cabin felt like a home away from home. Everything was exactly as described—immaculately clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. You can tell the owner truly cares about creating a special experience for their guests.We spent our mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee, listening to the sounds of nature, and our evenings relaxing by the fire after exploring the beautiful mountain area of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village. The views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful setting was exactly what we needed to recharge.One of the things we appreciated most was the attention to detail. Every room felt warm and inviting, and there were so many little touches that made our stay even more comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a wonderful visit.We made some amazing memories here and were genuinely sad to leave. This was one of our favorite mountain getaways, and we’re already talking about coming back. If you're looking for a place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the NC Mountains and Lake Lure, you won't be disappointed. We highly recommend this cabin and can't wait to return! It was a gorgeous house with fantastic amenities. I really loved all the fun lights and the custom wood work was extremely impressive. Super close to Ingles with walking/hiking super close too. Lake lure is such a lovely place and this was a great home to stay at!

The owner, Carl, is awesome! This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed and it is absolutely beautiful. Even the outdoor area is clean. Carl made us feel welcome and safe. He was attentive to our needs and left is to our privacy. We enjoyed grilled steaks on the park-style charcoal grill by the fire pit (clean firewood provided). Lights and Bluetooth speakers out side and huge TVs inside. Attention to detail was impressive. Lake Lure is great too. We will definitely return when we're back in the area.

A short weekend trip that’s unforgettable. The cabin was even better in person. Simply beautiful. Carl went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trip. Don’t think twice about this one. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Clean and enjoyable stay

Highly recommended. It’s a great place to “get away” and Carl has crafted an awesome and unique cottage that has it all. If you like the outdoors and making a fire and feeling like you need to getaway from city life every once in a while then this is a great place to do it!

Eric, You and your wife are welcome back any time. I'm so happy that people are coming back. I am miles away from the damaged area. Officials say do not come. We had the best time! The cabin was beautiful inside and out. The attention to detail and gorgeous woodwork was second to none. It was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. It was SO relaxing, peaceful, and private; just what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back!
