The location of this property was FANTASTIC! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms EXCELLENT! The kitchen had plenty pots pans dishes etc! The food storage and counter prep space is a little small but the OUTSTANDING deck space and view made up for that. We are a family of 10 and the house exceeded our expectations.

This is an epic property. Incredible views (sunrise over the ocean from your bed or bath) fantastically furnished. I honestly couldn’t fault it.

Unique oceanfront jem!

We loved our stay at “the Stronghold”— it certainly lives up to its name. The house is on the edge of a massive sand dune with nearly a hundred steps down to a quiet, beautiful beach with soft sand and great waves. The views could not be beat. We watched lots of seals (and some surfers) from the deck, which overlooks the ocean. This was our first time staying in Wellfleet, and we hope to be back!
