About the host
Hosted by Andy French
We're Andy and Laela and we love living in Sonoma Wine Country. We love this property and look forward to sharing it with you. I'm a woodworker and motorcycle enthusiast and an avid gardener and my wife Laela works for a Museum and curates exhibitions that travel globally. We love traveling , reading, movies, gardening. Most of all we value privacy - yours and ours.
Why they chose this property
We moved to Sonoma from Los Angeles and love everything about living here. The wine country is beautiful, inviting, and never gets old. The Historic Plaza is a treasure to stroll and enjoy the many great restaurants and shops and festivals and events all year long. We love the creeks, and nearby hiking and biking trails and feel lucky to be surrounded by so much beauty. The wineries a fun to visit plus the local grocery stores sell all the local brands too!
What makes this property unique
We have lived on this property for over two decades and continue to be stewards for the land we are honored to live on. Surrounded in old growth trees -Oak, Cedar, Redwood and includes over a dozen fruit trees including peach, apple, persimmon, lemon, lime, orange, plum, cherry. We grow summer veggies and cutting flowers and love to share the bounty. Our property backs to a park with private gate access making enjoying the outdoors a few steps away.
