Located in the friendly, historic, and picturesque town of Glen Ellen in the Sonoma Valley, is a welcoming and recently renovated, light-filled cottage on a spacious lot, behind a front cottage. A five minute walk takes you into the village of Glen Ellen, where you will find some of Sonoma Valley’s best restaurants and cafes, as well as a wonderful gourmet grocery store.
The comfortable, well appointed cottage easily sleeps 2 people, and offers privacy, and forest and valley views. There is a bedroom area with a queen size pillow-top bed and a queen sofa bed in the living area. Linens and towels are provided. It is the perfect getaway accommodation.

Upon arriving at the property, a feeling of happiness and relaxation sets in immediately. It is a beautiful and comfortable place. It is nestled in a wonderful neighborhood close to town, but very private.
Loved our stay at the Glen Ellen cottage. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants and an easy drive to many fine wineries. The cottage itself is very cute and suited our needs perfectly. We would definitely stay here again!
You would want to live here - On an oak covered hillside with a view across the Sonoma valley away from traffic noise but within walking distance of very good restaurants, wine tasting and a good grocery store. 1/2 mile drive to the beautiful Benzinger vineyard and 1 mile from Jack London State park - both worth a visit for the hiker, gardener and wine tasters
You will be in the back yard of the owners home but the terrain, landscaping and building orientation make it very private. Sit out on the south facing patio and soak it in.
The interior is comfortable - a studio set up but plenty of room for comfortable sitting, reading, eating and sleeping for 2.
On our arrival - the interior smelled of smoke - there is a wood burning fireplace - it took a day or two to air it out. If you plan to stay several days, use closet space and cook you may be a little disappointed. The refrigerator is small, the freezer door wouldn't close completely because it needed defrosting. The kitchen drawers are disorganized and lacking some basic tools like measuring cups. The kitchen faucet is a little loose at the base. The hot water heater may need some attention - located in a closet just outside the the building, it crackled and popped like an old fashion radiant heater. Again, for longer stays, the lack of washer and dryer is a bit of a hassle.
I don't want to discourage anyone looking for a great location in a special place - a little more attention to upkeep would make this place perfect.
The cottage was in a quiet neighborhood and had all the amenities we needed, plus a hot tub! The location was perfect for exploring all of the various towns and wineries throughout Sonoma Valley. We felt very comfortable there, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The cottage was a cute little studio. It was perfect for our weekend trip. We walked into town for breakfast and enjoyed a little lunch on the patio. There was even a small Jacuzzi in the back!
Thoroughly enjoyed this perfectly-located and well appointed cottage. We used it as a "hub" to launch our daily adventures to the surrounding wine regions (AVAs) -- coming back each night to dine in Glen Ellen (just a very short walk) and then watch the stars emerge while soaking in the hot tub...with a bottle of something yummy acquired earlier in the day. So, if that's what you're into, Stay Here! :)
Jack London Park is very close and has great walking and hiking trails. Morton's Warm Springs Resort is a ten minute drive. It has a swimming pools, hiking trails, sports courts, and picnic areas.
