Get away from the hustle and bustle with a stay in our cozy home located in a quiet, park-like setting on the south end of Whidbey Island.
Our home is centrally located in Freeland, five minutes from the nearest grocery store and fifteen minutes from the Clinton ferry. Enjoy easy access to shops and restaurants, old-forest hiking trails, lakes for swimming or paddle boarding and the beach!
Offering comfort and convenience, we hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Gorgeous views!

Loved this stay! The house was immaculately clean, cozy, and had everything we needed (spices, dishes, cookware, shampoo/conditioner & body wash, etc). We loved looking out the windows with the binoculars provided, the water and the view is just gorgeous. It rained most of our stay so we didn’t get a chance to try out the fire pit unfortunately. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. Driving in the neighborhood looks a little run down but we had no issues and the house itself is beautiful. Check in was super easy and the host responded quickly to a question we had. We enjoyed staying in and playing some of the games. Our favorite stops on the island were Callen’s for breakfast and Kapaw’s for ice cream. Small side note, we use fragrance free laundry detergent at home and were delighted to find they have the same provided for guests here. They also had a cute little snack basket provided for us which was a fun touch. Our dog loved having lots of room to run around. Overall a fantastic stay!

My husband, Paul, and I are both artists and musicians so it is fitting that we were drawn to the quaint setting of south Whidbey for our first home together. We enjoyed residing on Whidbey for three years and, as hosts, we look forward to sharing the space with our guests and their furry friends. We know you will absolutely fall in love with our special spot while enjoying morning coffees on the garden patio and sunsets over the harbor with a bonfire in the backyard. Our quiet neighborhood is the ideal location for a relaxing stay while exploring Whidbey Island. While we don’t live in the immediate area, we are happy to make suggestions and provide assistance during your stay.

While we are new to VRBO, we have a 2-year presence with great reviews on AirBnB!

As travelers, we are easy going and respectful. We have both dabbled in the travel industry and appreciate all cultures and backgrounds. We are both originally from Washington state but have also made residences in California, Alaska, and New Zealand. In addition to traveling the greater US several times over our favorite memories come from our trips to Slovenia, Antarctica, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Japan, China, Australia, Iceland, Thailand, Cambodia, and New Zealand! Looking forward to our next adventures to come.
