Guests will have private access to the entire home, and property.

Step into a timeless retreat at this classic 1925 lakefront cottage, recently renovated and thoughtfully decorated to blend vintage charm with modern comfort. Nestled on a private point of a cherished legacy property, this cozy haven offers breathtaking lake views from its enclosed porch.

The first floor features an open-concept living and dining area, seamlessly connected to a full, well-stocked kitchen—perfect for gathering and making memories. A recently updated full bathroom and a laundry area with a full-sized washer and dryer add convenience.

Upstairs, there are three newly carpeted bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms, each with an inviting electric fireplace, offer warmth and ambiance, while a charming daybed with a pull-out twin trundle adds extra sleeping space. The second floor has a small half bath and lower ceilings, adding to the cozy cottage character. Please note the ceilings on the second floor are low, approx. 7ft.

Shaw Pond, reminiscent of On Golden Pond, is a picturesque yet active lake in a lightly populated community. While outside, expect light to moderate boat, jet ski, and occasional road noise, enhancing the lively yet peaceful atmosphere.

Please note that the lakefront is not fenced and children should be monitored for safety. A boat ramp is close by and available to guests in the summer.

The property boasts its own private dock during the summer season, and the pond is a popular ice skating and ice fishing destination in the winter. The outside is professionally landscaped with beautifully lit hardscape walking areas and a fire pit surrounded by new, super comfy Adirondack chairs. Also, enjoy kayaks and a paddle boat!

The Lake house is located in the heart of ski resort heaven. 18 miles and 25 minutes from Butternut and Bousquet and only 9 minutes to Otis Ridge. Grocery, shopping, and restaurants are only 9 mins away.

Having a car will greatly enhance your ability to explore the Berkshires effectively.

⭐️ PARKING: Driveway accommodates up to 4 vehicles.

⭐️ POND INFO: Shaw Pond is a 100-acre warm water pond in Becket, MA, with an average depth of 13 feet and max depth of 19 feet. The western shore is moderately developed with homes, while the eastern side offers scenic, undeveloped terrain. Motorized boats are allowed, with a boat ramp 1/4 mile from the home. Guests bringing boats must sign an additional waiver if tying to the dock.

⭐️ PADDLE BOAT / KAYAKS: Guests have access to one two-person paddleboat and two one-person kayaks, all with life vests.

⭐️ DAMAGE PROTECTION: Your reservation includes a $20 accidental damage insurance fee, allowing you to relax and enjoy your stay with peace of mind. If any damage occurs, please notify us so we can arrange timely replacements for the next guest.
