This place is great despite some of the negative reviews. My family and I have been coming to HHI for 6 years and stayed in various locations including another unit in Ocean One and unit 311 is just as nice as any of them. Checkin and checkout process was easy and the property manager had great communication. The views are amazing! Will be staying here again.

The location and view can’t be beat. The condo definitely had some wear and tear, but we would definitely return for the location, view, and layout of the condo.

Perfect location & View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 3 adults & 2 kids (both about 10yrs old) stayed here for 1 week. The view is perfect from the large balcony and the location/proximity is great for quick access to all of our favorite places like Poolbar Jim's & Coligny shipping center. The maintenance, security & groundskeeping are very present & attentive. Kitchen was very nice in unit, on a few rainy nights we decided to cook at "home" and we found what we needed to do so. Noticed little things that are common in these STR units like like carpet being at the end of its life and squeaky beds. The rental beach chairs were great. One of the kids bikes we rented the seat wouldn't stay height adjusted or straight on the bike.

Sorority Get Away

Although we loved having three bedrooms and three bathrooms for 5 people, the amenities need to be updated. The coffee table is grimy with dirt, the carpet is frayed, cabinets are damaged and book shelf falling. It is a great spot just needs some improvements. We were satisfied with the location and loved the tiki bar next door! Great location to Coligny shopping area. Pool was awesome and warm!

Comfortable, but not as advertized

After booking, we found out there would be potential that our balcony would be blocked due to exterior work on building. While that did not happen, exterior work did impact our stay due to noise, equipment, etc. Also found out after the fact the pool would be out of service. There was no furniture on balcony as advertized, living room carpet, furniture was heavily stained, not enough silverware, etc. to classify as “fully stocked kitchen”. Owner did discount our stay due to impact of exterior work

Great views and great location

The unit itself was probably the worst that we have stayed at. It is a little run down examples:*The master faucets all leaked unless you turned them super hard*the back door handle was backwards and was hard to even open ( I fixed with a screwdriver)*the kitchen utensils and pans were laking to say the lease ( I bought an oven mitt and a spatula )* there was food on the balcony floor when we arrived I am being picky yes but I have high standards at Ocean One since we have stayed there many times and never had even remotely close of an experience as this last one.Will we stay again yes even hope to own someday and I will say our unit will not be as run down as this unit is.

Carpet looked really bad, furniture was very old outdated. Bed mattress needs replaced did not feel comfortable sleeping on, comforter was old need replaced.we went out bought our own before sleeping there. Really bad experience as it may have been clean it did not feel that way. Paint on walls was very dirty . Paint is cheap.TV in bedrooms very small and old. Picture sucked. TVs are very cheap to upgrade.Would love to own the spacious unit myself. I would renovate unit and upgrade furniture. Then raise rents. Don’t like to give bad feedback but we left early because we did not like feel and presumed cleanliness of unit. Not a shot at housekeeping just the old feel made it feel unclean.If you want to sell unit call me. Could be a nice getaway place if cleaned up.

The apartment itself is dated - the main bedroom especially... the curtains are basically non existent....the bedding is tired...the toilet paper holder is basically broken...The TV’s sound in the main bedroom’s volume is restricted . The beds in the other 2 bedrooms squeak ...... The living room’s carpet and furniture looks sad.....and so does the outside chair cushions .... The apartment is well stocked with appliances and pots and dishes.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Ocean One 311 for a week in July 2024. We love the location of Ocean One and have stayed there many times. The good things about Room 311: location, layout of the unit and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking items. The okay things: the refrigerator never made ice (but Seashore sent someone out to look at it - tried to repair but unable to while we were there); one of the commodes ran (again, Seashore fixed); the initial stock of items were just okay - very thin towels, tiny bars of soap, one little roll of paper towels. The bad: the unit is DIRTY! The carpet is stained, the tile floor is chipped, they have white duct tape on the cabinets. The bedding is thin and the pillows are old. When we arrived there were splatters of something on the wall in the master and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom feel off the wall after one use. A shelf above the television is barely hanging on the wall. For the amount of money paid for the week, these things are unacceptable. We will stay at Ocean One again, but unless this unit gets major renovations, it should be avoided.

However, our personal space - Room 311 was disappointing. The lack of pots/pans, dirty carpet, no covers on box spings, chips in the kitchen floor - gave it a bit of a "cheesy feel". Expected a higher quality of furnishings for $5K/week. I would recommend this to a friend ONLY if the furnishings, rugs, kitchen utensils, etc. were upgraded.

Would not rent this unit again

Reviewer Comments: There was a problem with the ice maker leaking water out of the freezer before we arrived that required a restoration effort and the replacement of the carpet padding in one of the bedrooms during our stay.This was not the unit we had initially reserved. The property management company was excellent in addressing the problems we encountered with the unit we were moved to during our stay. Stove burner knobs need to be replaced since you cannot read the markings on any of the knobs. There was no working vacuum cleaner for the carpets in the living room and bedrooms. There was a lot of construction activity going on at the property's location for the 2nd straight year. One of the 2 elevators was out of order for 8 out of 14 days during our stay. The property management company voluntarily issued a 15% credit plus tax in recognition of some of the issues we had with the rental of this unit. The property management company was excellent prior to and during our stay.

Not acceptable for the price

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did not have an overall pleasant experience. The unit was not clean to acceptable standards when we arrived (we purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathrooms ourselves), the air conditioning did not work for the first 3 days, there is duct tape on the cabinets, the washer sounded like it was falling apart, my son got stuck in the elevator for 8 minutes, the pool is like bath water and not refreshing at all, and the cushions on the outdoor seating are mildewed and moldy.I emailed Seashore immediately with photos of these issues and I called them. They stated the owner would contact me when he got a minute. I was sent an email stating that they would refund us $666.00 for the inconvenience, which hardly covers the 3 days that we had no air conditioning or the fact that I had to clean a condo that we paid $4,500.00 to rent! This entire experience was awful and I will never rent from Seashore, or at Ocean One again. This building needs maintenance and TLC, especially considering the outrageous cost to rent these outdated units.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I were a little disappointed in the lack of care for the condo. The stove needs to be replaced and set off the smoke alarm while pre heating. The paint on the wall has faded and needs to be touched up and there was a hole in the wall in one of the bathrooms. The screen door was also falling apart. With prices going up over s $1,000 from last summer I would hope the condo itself would reflect the cost, but it did not.

unit was so shabby! Awful furniture, dirty carpet, woodwork coming off walls, taped shower faucet, broken ice maker, bathroom faucet drips, tubs drained slowly, bottom of bathroom door falling apart, dirty dresser drawers, furniture was so old and uncomfortable, kitchen unequipped. Unit not ready at 4. No towels, we had to call.

End of Summer vaca.

The walls all need painting. There are holes where pictures use to hang, some electrical covers were missing. The living room furniture all needs replacing, the chairs cushions were horrible to sit in, all the cushions are completely flat and hard. The kitchen needs a good cleaning, dirty dishes in the cabinets, there was no frying pan or spatula to cook breakfast, the toaster is all dented. The bedrooms are all depressing and the bathroom doors are all water damaged.It’s such a shame because we have stayed in other condos at Ocean One that are really nice for the same price. However...the grounds are beautiful and the view from the balcony is amazing! The pool was also gorgeous!
