Short walk to Upham Beach, great pool

We stayed for a few days, lots of places to eat within walking distance, and we really enjoyed the pool.

Great location, close to the beach. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Would’ve been nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit but not a big deal. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again!

Great locatiion

This property is a great location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Very nice private pool area and a close walk to a gym. The apartment is no frills but in good condition. The apartment has corners and areas that could use more attention when being cleaned. I do admit I am picky about that, however if you are paying a cleaning service, I feel it should be a part of their attention to detail. The service provided by the management company was outstanding!

3 minutes walk to St. Pete’s Beach

Great area/location…….. was unhappy that bedroom TV wasn’t working!!!! Also,it’s unfortunate that beach towels weren’t available!!!! We flew in from S. Dakota so didn’t pack beach towels!!!! If you do anything in the kitchen, there is literally 1 dish cloth and 1 dish towel!! Unrealistic for a 7 day stay!!!

Close to beach

Overall the unit was perfect for 2 people and very clean, however if you don’t like stairs you may want to ask for a first floor unit. The location was great, we were 2 blocks from the beach and 1 block from Gulf Blvd. where many stores and restaurants are located. Most within walking distance. The only thing we did not like was that there was no washer or dryer in this unit. Which according to the person who booked this trip, she was under the impression that there was a washer and dryer in the unit.

The place was as described. The only problem was the sofa bed was broke but the manager compensated us for the inconvenience. It was quiet.

Getaway weekend

The wife and I wanted to get away for a weekend we only live 2 hours away. We rented this one bedroom condo through VRBO. We have stayed in the same complex before as it is a very secure location but not in a bad neighborhood in any way. I would rent through VRBO at this location again.

Really nice

We are very please with the apartment, it's very comfortable, well distributed, and clean. The kitchen has full new equipment, with all the utensils to cook, the bedroom has a comfortable bed, clean sheets and comfortable pillows. The bathroom very clean, plenty towels for the pool and regular showers . We enjoyed swimming in the pool which has a clean water. We really enjoy walking to the beach which it was only a 4-5 minutes away from the apartment. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Fantastic vacations

We are very pleased with the the rental at the Waves, we really enjoyed our stay. All we needed was there, in kitchen with all the utensils to cook, modern fridge, and glass top stove. In the bedroom we had plenty clean towels, clean sheets, comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. We love the clean swimming pool and the location of the building. We were walking distance to the beautiful beach. Overall, we are very happy and we will recommend to our friends and family.

Just what we needed

My 18 year old daughter and I stayed at Waves 14 from a Sunday through Thursday morning. The apartment was very nice, clean, and comfortable. I chose this location because it had a separate sleep area (sofa fold out) so my daughter could have her own ‘space'. She said it was much more comfortable than expected. Many times during our stay I thought that this condo would be a pretty nice place to live full time. This is an upstairs unit. Nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our beach get away. Loved having ice maker and cold water from fridge. Pool was clean and crystal clear. We didn't use it - while we were there there were families with younger kids having pool time fun. Upham Beach was clean and not horribly crowded. It is a couple of blocks walking to the beach - minimal sidewalks. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is a Publix within a couple of miles to get groceries. I would recommend this location and would stay there again!

Had a great 2 weeks at Waves. Within walking distance to the beach, pubs and restaurants. Wish there was a propane bbq there and a couple of chairs outside the condo but overall was good!
