Nestled on a quiet property owned by Port Clyde Kayaks, this two-level apartment has its own private entrance and is perfectly situated just a quarter mile from a kayak launch, making it an ideal home base for paddlers. Though located close to the heart of the village, it offers a peaceful escape — with serene mornings and evenings.

The first floor features:

• A cozy living room — perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure

Outdoor Space:

Step outside into the shared backyard to find a peaceful setting complete with a duck pond, Adirondack chairs, and open space to unwind. While the property is also home to some light business activity from Port Clyde Kayaks, the setting remains quiet and inviting — especially in the early mornings and evenings.

For your convenience, we have provided initial supplies of the following: linens, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, dish towels, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, roku TV, wireless internet, and a home phone (long distance is not included) are all complimentary. Cell phones: Although coverage is getting better, there are some places where cell phones don't have good reception. Our property owner has a land line in case of emergency.

It can be hot in Rockland and cool in Port Clyde so make sure to pack a variety of clothes — from a bathing suit for hot days to a sweater for cool evenings. Bugs: A lot of people ask us if we have mosquitoes...we sure do. But they aren't huge and they don't ruin a vacation. Bring some repellent, or pick some up at the local general stores and you will be fine; usually, you won't even notice them.

Very cute place with a large main bedroom, cute kitchenette, and great bathrooms. It was perfect for our weekend needs. Tamara was helpful when we had questions and even offered us a vase when she saw we had flowers.
