Beautiful Acorn Cabin, 10 min from Asheville

Beautiful Acorn Cabin has all the modern conveniences (full kitchen, central air, gas fireplace, cable TV) along with a shaded porch, rocking chairs, and quiet woods. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs, but not on the furniture. Three queen beds and a sleeper sofa can accommodate up to 8 people. (The base rate covers up to 4 guests. Each additional guest is $25/night.) Easy access to the mountains, Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Situated just 30 yards from our other cabins:

EVENTS: Our insurance does not cover events held at the cabins, nor is our parking usually adequate for parties including folks who are not Cedar Creek guests. Therefore, rehearsal dinners, bridesmaid luncheons, reunion dinners or any event, indoors or outdoors, that includes significant numbers of people who are not cabin guests, are not permitted.
We can suggest local restaurants, event centers, and parks that may be able to help with these needs.

Peaceful cabin in the woods

This was our second stay. We enjoy the wooded environment. The location is great to walk into Weaverville and visit shops and eat at restaurants.

Nice Location

Really enjoyed the location being a few minutes walk from "downtown" Weaverville with restaurants, micro breweries, wine tasting, pastry/coffee shops and other nice shops. A park is nearby making it convenient for walking dogs. Pretty easy access to highways to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway, National Parks, downtown Asheville, Biltmore and other area attractions.

Best cabin ever!

The cabin was inviting, adorable, clean, and decorated with antiques, quilts, and rustic, eclectic pieces. The cabin was stocked with everything you may have forgotten and anything you might need to feel at home, illustrating a concern for guests' enjoyment. The owners also created a book of things to do which included a compilation of area restaurants. The cabin was secluded yet walking distance from town. We had a lovely time and will return.

Great Cabin Easy to get to amenities.

The Cabin is great. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Lots of note cards explaining anything that is not obvious. Its really close to food and amenities but far enough away to feel secluded. my kids loved playing in the creek.

W head never been to the Ashville area. The cabin was clean rustic and quaint. Loved the area. The evenings were nice and quiet. Surprises given the close proximity to shops and food. Would recommend and if we visited Ashville again would stay!

Cabin Living

This cabin was perfect for a girls trip in the Asheville, NC area. All of the destinations that we visited were easily accessible by car. The cabin provided a comfortable, relaxing place for us to spend evenings talking and catching up. Our hosts were responsive to the questions that we had upon arrival, answering our phone calls immediately. We would definitely book it again.

Wonderful Area

We stayed in the cabin with our son and daughter-in-law and had a great time. Weaverville is a wonderful community with lots of fun restaurants and shops, and we spent time there, in Ashville, and up in the Blue Ridge. The hosts left a nice book with suggestions of places to hike and to visit including brochures, and we added several of their suggestions to our plans. We cooked in a few nights and had everything we needed to prepare meals, including a new outdoor grill. I would certainly return.

Great location

The house was nice but loved the location. Enjoyed walking to and being so close to little Weaverville and fairly close to Asheville. There are some nice hikes nearby and even saw a BEAR on one!! Although the house was clean, there was something in it that bothered my husband and his allergies (which aren't really that active). His eyes got red and itchy so not sure if there was a cat prior or dust, etc.

Cozy and great area

Weaverville is just close enough to Asheville to go anywhere you want quickly. It’s a super quaint little town with great local artists and a couple of cute restaurants. All Good Coffee is a must! Property great! Stairs are a little getting use to, especially for fur babies. And housekeepers need to pay more attention to hairballs that collect in the corners. Doors are old and they don’t lock. Not a problem for us, but different. And, bunk beds are in the closet of the master bedroom and the size of a crib mattress. Downstairs has a cool extra living area. And the loft w/bath upstairs is so fun! We LOVED our stay! And we would rent again for sure!!!

The Best Experience

This was the best experience, in every way, we have ever had renting a cabin in the Asheville area. It was close to everything, yet offered a sense of peace, calm, and privacy. We loved the porch in the early morning, drinking coffee, and later in the day as the sun set.

Wonderful place!

We loved staying at the Acorn Cabin. It was spacious, clean, and private (but very close to Weaverville's super cute downtown). Internet was a little spotty, but that was truly minor (and, in fact, a blessing in disguise). Great space for friend groups, families, etc. We plan to book again in the future!

Perfect Location

My husband and I booked this property for a quick getaway with our baby son. We loved how close it was to restaurants and breweries in Weaverville but also a quick drive to all the surrounding attractions. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
