The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3. My daughter loved all the toys available to play with. We loved watching the sunsets off the back deck. We saw deer every morning heading out for our adventures.

We’re so glad the cabin was a great fit for your family! It’s wonderful to hear that your daughter enjoyed the toys and that you were able to take in the sunsets from the back deck and spot deer each morning. Thank you for sharing your experience—we’d be happy to host you again!
We love visiting Colorado, and always stay in either Divide or Florissant. The location of this cabin was absolutely perfect! It was very clean, cozy and had all the essentials needed for our stay. We stayed for a week and were traveling with a group of 5, plus our dog. The porch was excellent for morning coffee or just relaxing and hearing the sounds of nature around you. Communication with the host was always timely and instructions for checking in and out were simple. We would love to stay here again, for a future trip to Colorado. It is very close to Cripple Creek, Woodland Park and Colorado Springs. There is a grocery market in Divide, which was very convenient. There are some family games, provided by the host, which made for great quality time in the evening. I loved reading the guest book and finding out what drew others to the area, as well as their recommendations to local attractions/restaurants. Thank you, Karen, for making our trip such a memorable one!
Generally it was clean and spacious, more spacious than the pictures can depict, a wonderful surprise. Loads of closet space and storage and enough hangers, which isn't always the case with rentals. The ice in the refrigerator was frozen into a glob and the dispenser didn't seem to work. The tub bottom squeaks and groans the entire time in a shower. Not sure what is wrong. The house was comfortable. Living room furniture could be replaced as it is worn. The dining room chairs need cushions as they are very hard on the bottom. Comfortable master bed. Maybe remove the pot hanger in kitchen since it is too low to hang pots on? Linen closet in master bath sticks/binds. Mostly we enjoyed the stay as we came up to get away from noise and fireworks over the 4th and it was blessedly quiet at this house. Lots of TV channels on Roku. Nice carpet. We appreciated all the little kitchen things and condiments/basics provided! The shower did not have soap of any kind. It had lotion in the shower. Not any liquid or bar soap. Luckily, we brought a little along. But people wouldn't expect that. This is really a good rental house, with a few upgrades, changes. Thank you!
