This cute ranch home is about 1200 sq ft and is well equipped for your next restful getaway. Nestled among trees, this home is on 26 acres in the little town of Creston. There are 2 bedrooms both with queen beds in each and 1 bathroom in the hallway. There is a laundry room as well.
Enjoy the well stocked kitchen to make your meals, bbq on the back patio, or have dinner at the Loading Chute Restaurant, only 1 mile away.
This home is close to many local tasting rooms and wineries. Relax and enjoy. If you are lucky you may see a bald eagle fly overhead.

Roomier than expected!

Overall our two-night stay was fun. A roughly 3/4 mile dirt road took us to the property, which is a small ranch with horses, pigs, chickens, dogs, and an occasional deer. We were free to wander the property to pet the horses.The property owner Gil was very friendly and attentive to our needs. He provided bug spray when some ants tried to enter the house. The interior was clean and everything worked as expected. There is a washer/dryer that we used. The grass area in front of the house is kept watered so it remains green, which cools the area nicely with the help of the nearby trees. We took advantage of that area to take some family photos.This location is one of the closest to the Willow and Oak Estate wedding venue, so we had extra time to get ready for the wedding we attended, and we could easily jet back to our room from the wedding (about 15 minutes round trip) when we forgot something.

Quiet and Rural

The most challenging thing is getting there. From either direction, take the freeway the majority of the way. Do not listen to your GPS as it will take you down miles of winding road. Once there, there are no signs showing which property is the Vrbo, and there are several buildings at the end of the road (hard to tell on the dark) so we pulled up the picture to match it up. It is the first place on the left. Park in front of the garage and take the little stone walkway to the front door. The house is very cozy with a living room and two bedrooms and a bathroom. No air conditioning but they do have ceiling fans. We were only there one night so everything was fine for us. It’s an older home but again, if we had a family this would be perfect and affordable. There were also deer right outside the window in the morning. Nice to wake up to!

Remote yet close to wineries

Amy our host was very responsive to our questions and needs. House is large and clean. Has everything we needed. Only 12 minutes to our favorite wineries. Enjoyed it!

Lovely affordable place to stay when going to Paso Robles & Sensorio.

Very nice two bedroom one bath home on a somewhat remote working farm with horses and chickens. An easy 20 minutes from Paso Robles. If you need two bedrooms, this is a great alternative to two hotel rooms.

Perfect Location

I discovered this adorable house when I was looking for a place to spend the weekend while I worked at a nearby venue. It was the perfect location and was just a few minutes from where I was working. I wasn’t at the house much but when I was it met all my needs: comfortable bed, clean and spacious, shower with good pressure and hot water, fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances to make a meal and nice relaxing living room area with the best recliner chairs which were perfect after a long days work. Highly recommend this house for anyone visiting the area.

This home is a found treasure!

We enjoyed the quiet peace and views of majestic trees during our visit to this ranch house. The home was complete with everything for our comfort . It was perfect for our local excursions as well as relaxing on the porch! Thank you so much for all your hospitality and wonderful touches, Amy!

IT WAS PERFECT!

My son was getting married on Saturday at The Loading Chute so we reserved for Fri and Sat so the girls could get ready Sat am. Being 2 miles from facility made it a PERFECT CHOICE!!
