Discover this marvelous 4-bedroom FULLY EQUIPPED original cottage on Sunset Beach. "Just Struggling" is new to the rental market, and is fully stocked with nice, new items! Nothing has been overlooked! This brilliant cottage boasts 2 NEW king beds, 2 queen beds, and 1 new twin bed, and comes with NEW linens and towels included with the rental! The 2 bathrooms are equipped with toiletries and hair dryers. Or take a private shower outdoors under the house with hot and cold water. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a washer/dryer, WiFi, heating, and AC. Experience a wonderful stay at our place in Sunset Beach. "Just Struggling" was built in 1960 and is one of the original 8 cottages on Sunset Beach. All of the charm, with updated baths and kitchen. This cottage has never been rented, has all new supplies and is ready for your family to make amazing memories. The kitchen has new pots and pans, knives, and all the supplies for gourmet meals. There are basic spices in the kitchen, as well as some cooking oils, coffee, tea, creamers etc. Both bathrooms have been nicely updated. New beds to assure a great night sleep. We include bedding and towels, less you need to pack. The ocean front-center island location is absolutely perfect for families. It's a short walk to the pier or the stores to get a refreshing Sunset Slush or ice cream from the Sunset Beach Trading Company! No need to bother with parking, you can walk everywhere! The screened room ocean side is the perfect place for a cup of coffee or a sunset cocktail while enjoying the ocean breeze and views of the water. There are beach chairs, umbrella, beach wagon (please rinse off daily), laundry room (with detergent), and some games, books, puzzles and cards. New can lighting, furniture, and decor all work in harmony to showcase this charming original Sunset Beach gem!

Everything about the house was great. we had a wonderful time staying at the property. I wish the weather had cooperated but the house being so nice and well maintained made all the difference. Lots of well done upgrades and little things to make everyone feel at home.

So special to spend time at Sunset in this beautiful, vintage beach cottage! It has been wonderfully renovated while keeping the original character from the 1960s. Brand new furnishings and updated bathrooms. Easy access to boardwalk. Perfect location to watch the sunrise from the back porch. We will definitely be back :)

Why they chose this property

Sunset Beach is truly a slice of paradise. Sunset is the smallest of NC barrier islands. It’s truly a gem with a family environment. We chose center island for its convenient and accessibility to the island shops, pier and beautiful beach. The cottage built in 1960 is said to be 1 of the first 8 houses built on the island.

What makes this property unique

We have completely renovated our home and furnished it as if we were living there. Hopefully you will enjoy your time and make wonderful memories with your family and friends.
