I had the privilege of staying here with my fiancée for a few nights during a crisp October weekend. To say it was one of my favorite places would be an understatement. The level of customer/guest service was beyond what I had ever seen, including the impeccable cleanliness, the tasteful nautical decor, and the thoughtful gifts from the owners, all of which made us feel right at home for our stay. The house is set back in a quiet little neighborhood, ideal for peace and quiet, but is easily walkable to the beach and main streets, making it convenient if you want to catch all the action downtown. The weekend we went happened to be in the midst of a New England storm (typical) full of heavy downpours and gusty winds, so luckily we had the hot tub directly outside to keep us toasty. It is quite the amenity and I felt like royalty lounging in it. Speaking of toasty- there is a sleek electric fireplace in the living room that I made sure to use as I was allured by all the display colors and strong heat. We were treated to a giant bed with a mattress to-die-for. It wasn’t such a bad thing we were stuck in the house all weekend due to the weather because the bed, fireplace, and hot tub were their very own attractions. We were so lucky to score this place and 10/10 recommend to all who are interested. We certainly will be coming back in the future!
