Great Home with Huge Yard and Pool right in Town

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great stay at this place. The location is awesome, just a few blocks north of the shops/restaurants in downtown and to have a big yard & pool so close to town was the best! Sarah answered all my questions before the trip and was helpful throughout, as was the house manager. We stayed for almost 3 weeks with our family incl. 3 young kids and the house worked well. The house is right on main street so does get traffic noise in the front room, but with a sound machine, our daughter never had a problem. In the master, you could also hear traffic, but again, it never kept us up at night. My husband had to work during the week so was online all day and internet up in the master definitely isn't as strong as downstairs. It was such a dream to walk into the rental and have it so well set up -- clearly it was a home and not just a rental house and has lots of nice decor touches, as well lots of the necessities that I've always had to go out the first day to stock the house with. I was happy to replace anything I used up and basics like tp and paper towels I had to get, but there are tons of spices, sugar, olive oil, etc (we were even able to make an apple cake with fresh apples from the backyard b/c the cabinet was so well stocked), cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, etc., etc. I've stayed at multiple rentals where they don't even have salt and pepper so it's so nice when it's well stocked -- definitely makes you want to leave anything extra you aren't going to use up. I felt like we were settled in immediately which was such a treat. Other aspects of the house are really nice too -- same Coyuchi sheets we sleep on at home, comfy beds, nice matching towels, tons of platters, various glasses etc which made entertaining super easy. We spent tons of time outside, grilled often on the nice grill and our boys had fun learning bocce and running around the yard. Great seating down by the pool, nice big patio table. We used the swimming pool every day. We knew it wasn't heated and we knew we were taking a chance with that -- we tested the temp with a thermometer and it was 77 degrees -- definitely cold/'refreshing'. On cooler days (80s) it felt cold and during the heat wave (113 degrees), it was refreshing. Our boys had no problems, though were in and out of pool versus swimming for a while. Our 15-month old wouldn't swim most days and she loves the water. A few degrees would make a difference, maybe a cover would help? Really loved this place!

Family stay in Napa

  • 5 of 5

I visited St. Helena with my daughter and son with their spouses to celebrate a family wedding. We totally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful vintage Napa home. It is located just outside of downtown St. Helena and is in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants in town. The interior has been beautifully restored and maintained and is extremely comfortable with all the modern conveniences/amenities to be expected from a rental in this price range. The yard is beautifully maintained and large. My only minor issue is that the bedroom that fronts the street was somewhat noisy as the house is on the main road in an out of town and truck and vehicle traffic occurs throughout the night. I would have no hesitation in returning.

Living like a "local" in Napa Valley

  • 5 of 5

This was THE perfect charming house to unwind in wine country for few days. The location is an easy walk to the many great shops and restaurants of downtown St. Helena. If you prefer to stay in and enjoy the wine you purchased that day the kitchen and living room are spot on to celebrate a great meal and relax. Our group was really impressed with how clean and up-to-date the property showed. You can tell the owners very much care about this property. Five Stars!

Great location!

  • 4 of 5

This property is in a great location in downtown. Perfect for walking to dinner or shopping. The house was clean and well appointed on arrival. There are only two bathrooms for the three bedrooms, one of which is a Jack and Jill so made it a little difficult for two of the couples to get a good night sleep but overall we were very pleased. We all really enjoy enjoyed the bocce court!
