Buckeye Cabin is one of only three cabins onsite, with plenty of room to accommodate up to 12 people. Modern mountain decor, large deck, five bedrooms (1 king bed, 3 queen beds, 2 twins) plus a family-room futon and three full baths combine to make you comfortable while you play pool, enjoy the flat screen TVs, or just relax on the deck.
You will have easy access to all the area's attractions from mountains to nightlife, bird-watching to theater, shopping to touring the Biltmore Estate.
EVENTS: Our insurance does not cover events held at the cabins, nor is our parking
usually adequate for parties including folks who are not Cedar Creek guests. Therefore,
rehearsal dinners, bridesmaid luncheons, reunion dinners or any event, indoors or outdoors,
that includes significant numbers of people who are not cabin guests, are not permitted.
We can suggest local restaurants, event centers, and parks that may be able to help with these needs.

New Years at Buckeye
The cabin was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable for our family of seven. We had a few minor issues that were quickly addressed by the owner. It was extremely cold while we were there, and the heater in the cabin definitely kept up. We really enjoyed the pool table on the ground floor; played lots of games complete with smack talk! We rang in the New Year there and enjoyed some great family time. Everyone was very pleased with this property.
It is a great cabin and perfect location.
This is our third stay in one of the 3 cabins. We love the location and access to everything in the Ashville and mountain areas. Easy day trip to Gatlinburg and Dollywood. Great restaurants in the area also!!!!
Will be back!!!!!
SC, PA and Ohio crew
We really enjoyed our stay at the Buckeye Cabin. It had all the amenities needed for our group and was surprisingly easy to get Ubers to Asheville downtown. The large deck, firepit and pool table were highlights for us.
Great log cabin! Clean, cozy, great location!
Great location, feel like your in the forest yet minutes from major highways. Cabin is clean, and cozy. We had camp fires at night in the fire pit. Enjoyed the fireplace on a chilly night. The children loved the ground floor tv room. After a hectic day visiting Asheville this is the place to stay, large deck with comfy rocking chairs to relax your tired body.
Great as always
Always a great destination. Our 3rd trip with traveling group of eight. Close enough to Asheville but far enough away. Micki & Roger make it feel like home.
The owners have done everything to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful cabin in the woods near one of our favorite towns, Weaverville, NC. Great family areas for relaxing, dining inside and out. Bedrooms lovely, private, great beds. We have enjoyed it twice and will come again. Thank you for a great family vacation.
Cedar Creek (including Buckeye Cabin) is a secluded vacation getaway in the western North Carolina mountains. Not only is our cabin located in a natural wooded area, it is also just 10 minutes to downtown Asheville and within walking distance of downtown Weaverville with several restaurants, cafes, and unique gift shops. All three of our cabins are within 30 yards of each other.
