On the second floor (guests must be able to use stairs), this is a non-smoking, no pets 1 BR, 2 BA loft unit part of Lofts of Estes, at the confluence of Big Thomson river and Fall river. Newly furnished, this unit sleeps 1 or 2 adults in the loft upstairs and maybe a child or two in the sofa bed located downstairs in the living room (no door in between). Two 3/4 baths for your convenience, in-room jetted tub and grills (outside). Condo has a full kitchen, large balcony with river view and a skylight. WiFi internet, DVD player and cable channels.

Walk across the bridge to restaurants, shopping and Estes Park festivals. Follow the creek on the relaxing river walk.

Great condo for your own refreshing vacation, couple retreat, honeymoon or family vacation. Use it as a base camp to explore scenic Rocky Mountain National Park. Ski at Eldora in winter.

Cancellation policy: $100 fee if cancelled at least 3 weeks before arrival, could forfeit up to half of the total payment if cancelled less than 3 weeks before arrival and no other reservations for your dates. We will refund you as much as possible if you let us know as soon as you can about a cancellation.

Top notch property!

For the second year in a row my wife and I have escaped to the Lofts of Estes after Thanksgiving with family in the Denver area. Here's what's important: very clean, very well appointed, up to date, great location! The loft bedroom is very comfortable and just the right size with a convenient bathroom and shower. The downstairs has a kitchen, sofa bed and another bathroom with shower. For summer travelers there is a very nice deck outside the upstairs bedroom. The owners are easy to deal with and great at communication (letting us know the property was ready so we could check in early). Parking onsite can be a little difficult but there is a lot across the street that can be used also. This property is perfect for couples or a family of 4.

Overall, it was a convenient, reasonably nice place to stay, a good value for the accommodations.

This place had a lot going for it. It is very convenient by foot to many of the shops, coffee houses, and restaurants in Estes Park. It has two bathrooms, which is very helpful. The kitchen is well stocked, with the exception that it could use a couple dish towels and hooks to hang them on. The hooks could be located on the sides of the cabinets facing the sink. Not very sustainable to needlessly use so many paper towels every time you want to dry your hands during food prep. But in the place overall, plenty of good towels and blankets.

The upstairs bed was reasonably comfortable once we removed the 3" thick extra layer of foam on the mattress; otherwise it would have been too soft. We didn't need it, but we wouldn't recommend using the downstairs fold-out couch for a bed; it sagged in the middle, and was very lumpy. The jet tub was nice, but there was barely enough hot water to use it, even if you didn't use any hot water for the prior hour or two.

The surprising thing that was missing was a place to store your clothes. There was no chest of drawers. Even just a simple set of shelves would have been very helpful; otherwise you're just living out of your suitcase. We got the feeling that the owners cater mostly to week-enders, who maybe don't need storage space because they're there for such a brief time. But if you're there for a week or more, it would be nice to have a little simple storage space. And yes, there are areas where such storage shelves could be put, on both floors.

Another issue was the clothes drier didn't dry clothes, even after an hour and a half of drying, half full. The owner said she would have it checked, so maybe that's all it would take. Oh, and it sure would be nice to have a simple clothes hook or two in the lower bathroom (maybe on the back of the door) to hang clothes on. And by the way be sure not to put anything in direct contact with the baseboard electric heating strips; they get hot enough to melt plastic handles on your luggage (as we found out).

None of these things kept us from having a good time; the place was cozy and homey overall and we enjoyed staying there. It's just that for a place that the sign outside says is "luxury" there are a few simple, inexpensive (a better fold-out couch-bed notwithstanding) improvements that could be installed to make it more deserving of that description. We hope the owner will be open to our suggestions to make a good place to stay even better.

Great location, spacious, clean and cozy.

We spent Thanksgiving with our 5 year old twin boys and all had a great time. The condo is clean, spacious and had all of the necessary amenities to cook an "away from home" Thanksgiving dinner. Parks, restaurants, shops and the Christmas parade were all within walking distance.
