This totally remodeled condo is a large north corner condo that has a screened in balcony facing the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. You have access from both the living area as well as the master bedroom to your balcony. The kitchen has been updated and is fully equipped; relax on your private balcony with a cup of coffee from your Keurig coffee maker You are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and other beach activities. Your condo has a washer and dryer as well as free internet service. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property with the exception of a designated outside smoking area.

Great location

This condo was a perfect place for our family of 5. You can walk to John’s Pass, candy/ ice cream store, and restaurants nearby. The condo was very clean, and comfortable for our family. We would definitely go back.

Loved my stay

Beautiful condo and location. Only fault I had was the living room stayed too warm. I had to use a fan to pull colder air to living room. This, by far, would not keep me from staying here again. I loved it

Great beach!!

The place was very nice and clean, the view was spectacular!! Got freaked out by the palmetto ( giant cockroaches) bugs along the railing to my room!! I was terrified they were going to get in my room. I couldn’t believe how big they were!! Thank goodness it was my last day when I saw them! People were complaining about them by the pool too! But other than that it was a good stay!

Left much to be desired

The sheets on the master bed were so old they were worn and rough. All three bedrooms were very hot and stuffy, thankfully 2 had box fans. One evening the vent in one bathroom "rained" down. When the maintenance company was called, we were told to go upstairs and tell those neighbors not to shower. Two days later another company called to say they would look at it. When they did not show up at the scheduled time I called them and they thought the unit was in Clearwater. It is ridiculous that no extra garbage bags or paper towels are provided. The only beach chair (5 double seats) rentals near the building are booked months in advance. The elevator was so hot and smelled bad it was very unpleasant. Having to drive to a separate place to get keys and return them is not at all convenient. Needing a key for elevator (no folks it is not a lobby), to get on beach, to get in pool area is also not convenient. At least the location was nice...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well, we didn't actually get to go. Due to exceptional covid problems in the area and not having an available hospital bed there was a nasty red tide. I called several weeks before our trip to cancel and Resort Rentals was unwilling to work with me at all on a refund, or even a partial refund. I have stayed with Resort Rentals several times in the past, but I'm not sure if I will again.

Great Beach Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is very nice and extra third bedroom with the laundry room is a nice addition. I’m not crazy about screened in balconies but you get used to it after a while. The furniture is a little run down - especially the dinning table and chairs. The master bedroom does not cool very well - there are fans to use but this is something that should be corrected - a ceiling fan would help. Overall the unit has a nice layout and upgrades and has a nice atmosphere. The corner location is nice.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First let me say this is my second visit to Villa Madeira. I don't think i will be using it again. This unit is in a great spot as far as access to food and shopping. Awesome view of the water. I was disappointed at the amount of traffic noise while sitting on the balcony, as well as in the unit. The sound of the above unit was awful. The beds and sofa were very uncomfortable. Most of the carpets are stained. Upon entry the carpet was so stained. A very unappealing first impression. The door was difficult to close. One bedroom room was so cold but the front rooms were not. It was difficult to control the temperature.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve been coming to this same complex for the past 3 years. I’ve enjoyed each stay. This time I stayed almost a month. The condo unit was very nice but there Were a few items that needed some fixing. The sliding door in living room did not close entirely. It stormed one evening and rain came in a bit. The carpet had a moldy odor, probably from the damp air coming inside. Everything else was very very nice. Nicely decorated. Oh, also the chairs in dining room were sort of unstable, a bottom rung fell off of one chair. Beautiful condo though.

Villa Madeira 410 - Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this unit because it's a great value for an excellent location and is very spacious. The beach is clean and uncrowded and is the main reason we keep returning to Madeira is a short walk down the beach to all of the shopping, dining, and entertainment at John's Pass as well as many other restaurants on Gulf Blvd. It is right across the street from the Candy Kitchen and Sweet Brewnette. The condo itself it a bit dated, the cabinets in the kitchen are in bad shape in places but there is a lot of storage and was mostly well stocked with utilsels and cookware.The corner unit is great for views from the balcony and the extra sunlight from the extra windows but we wish some of the balcony's screens could be removed or rolled up. The pool area is great and the restrooms in the pool area are helpful so you don't have to go all the way up to the unit for restroom breaks. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, we're there for beach. Resort Rentals has always been easy to work with and we will continue to use them for our trips down to the gulf in the future!

Some units had at least one section that opened, that would be nice. One who enjoys the Beach

Couch had hide-a-bed, not comfortable for sitting and watching TV. No TV in 2nd bedroom. Street traffic very noisy.

2018 Vacation

Reviewer Comments: We enjoy staying at Villa Madeira because of the location, The room was clean very nice could use some cooking utensils, master bed was not so comfortable,over all the stay was good. Biggest problem was not with the place it self but the volunteer who was harassing people, which I did report twice to the rental company the first time I confronted him he said he was a volunteer the 2nd time said he was president of the assoc. & owner either way My Family & I rent 3 rooms a year for several yrs now this is the first we have ever had a problem with anybody. Everyone else was very friendly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view of the gulf was beautiful. Several times we saw dolphins playing in front of the condo. The building was secure. The assigned parking space was something I value as some other condos that I have stayed in this area did not have this. It was convenient to everything. The sliding glass doors were hard to lock and one drawer in the kitchen was broken were the only issues. The rooms were spacious even the small den with the trundle bed was adequate for one person. I would rent this condo again because it is a good location and a good value for the price that I paid.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very clean, comfortable, decorated nicely, and in a central location. There were 6 of us staying in the unit, 4 adults, and 2 small children. We had plenty of room. The balcony is screened in and that was a big concern of ours with the kids since we were on the 4th floor. There are modern appliances for your convenience. Gail at Resort Rentals is friendly and helpful. We hated to leave and hope to go back again soon. We had a wonderful week.

Villa Madeira first time

The condo was great size had all the amenities and things we needed. Only small thing was the elevator was just so hot but other than that all was great experience

Parking

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very dissatisfied for the stay this year. We were informed of the parking starting Tuesday morning had to park at the church do to work being done to parking garage for one day well it took more then one day how about 3 days.

Thank you for the post and we truly apologize for the inconvenience of the parking situation during your stay at the Villa Madeira. The current project keeps getting modified and the latest did not give us any advanced warning, which is not fair to our arriving guests! It is our goal to keep everyone up to date on any improvements or construction that is taking place and unfortunately that did not occur this last time. Again, we truly apologize to you for the frustrations that you encountered, this was never our intent.
