About this property

Cottage · Hot Tub · EV Charger · Fire Pit

Step outside onto your private covered deck as steam rises from the hot tub, rhododendrons rustling in cool mountain air. The Blue Ridge Parkway is three miles away. Biltmore Estate is 20 minutes down the road. Downtown Asheville's breweries, galleries, and farm-to-table restaurants are close enough for a spontaneous evening out — and this quiet wooded retreat is always waiting when you come home.

ABOUT THIS SPACE
The Laurel is a single-level cottage (once inside) nestled in a serene wooded community just outside Asheville. No stairs inside. A warm, thoughtful layout that feels like a real home. Whether you're here for a long weekend or an extended stay, everything is set up for genuine comfort from the moment you walk in.

Bedroom & Bathroom: Sleep on a Helix hybrid king mattress with hotel-quality linens, a full closet, and a dresser for unpacking properly. The en-suite full bath connects to both bedroom and living area — bright, airy tub/shower combo, stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and fresh towels.

Living Room: An electric fireplace anchors this warm room — the kind you sink into after a day on the trails. Watch movies on the 55-inch 4K Roku Smart TV, play board games, or just let the mountain quiet settle in. A queen sleeper sofa accommodates a third or fourth guest.

Kitchen & Dining: Open-concept with natural oak cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Blender, drip coffee maker, regular coffee & teas included, toaster, full cookware set, knife block, wine glasses. Breakfast bar for quick mornings; dining table for slower ones.

Outdoor Space: Your private covered deck holds a hot tub (towels provided) and an electric BBQ grill. The shared backyard has a community fire pit with Adirondack chairs, and firewood included — slow evenings, better conversations, genuine nights under the stars.

Also included: in-unit washer/dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workspace, EV charger, iron/ironing board, private entrance, and driveway.

Note: The Laurel is one half of a side-by-side duplex — Rosewood cottage has its own entrance, driveway, and soundproofing between units.

Fabulous cottage in a great location!

We spent a full week here. The Laurel cottage was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The bed is comfortable with nice linens and a selection of quilts to choose from. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could want. Coffee and filters, plastic wrap, foil, salt & pepper, high quality pans, utensils, and dishes. Hot tub is delightful. The location is ideal for mountain biking, & hiking. The Arboretum and Parkway are 7 minutes away. Shopping is 3 minutes away. This is an A+ property!

Welcome to your home away from home!

I'm Andrea, and my husband, Jason, are the owners of Asheville Luxury Cottages.

This whole adventure started over 20 years ago during a scuba diving trip in Bonaire, when I had a random thought: “Wouldn’t it be cool to run a B&B someday?” A career turn to be sure, having spent 30+ years in healthcare! Still, service, caring for people, and paying attention to details have always been second nature, so hosting just felt right.

Today, we’re proud to welcome travelers to beautiful Asheville—not quite a tropical island, but every bit as magical. Whether you're here for the arts and crafts, the rich natural history, iconic film locations, mouthwatering food, or heart-pumping outdoor adventures, Asheville has something for everyone.

We’re honored to offer you a peaceful, comfortable place to unwind after a day of exploring. Relax, recharge, and enjoy every moment—we’re so glad you’re here.
