Aloha! Welcome to Khammoui's Shangri La by the sea. Comfortable second floor unit-no elevator with cool cross breeze and partial ocean views in Kona Shores Condominium! NO SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED. This condo have strict rules with high fines. Please follow the rules and keep to yourself. If you are evicted during your stay, no refund on the remainder of your stay will be given back.

Furnished with teak dresser, teak night stands, stainless steel appliances-gas stove, refrigerator, dishes, pans, coffee maker, Torrington cabinets, granite counter tops, tile tub/shower, vanity, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach cooler, ceiling fans , 55' Samsung TV with external soundbar, cable, DVD/CD player, sofa, , iron, ironing board, refrigerator with ice maker, free WiFi, free assigned parking #6 just below the unit and remote control air conditioning on the window. Excellent oceanfront pool! This condo is located on the South side of town 30 minutes walk to downtown. We provide toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, trash bags and laundry detergent to last you during your entire stay with us. We are waiving Cleaning Fee, Damage Insurance and Damage Deposit. We have No Hidden fees. What you pay online is it. No Resort Fee, No Cleaning Fee, No Check-in Fee.

Any problems with unit during your stay, we will have it taken care of right away because we live just 2 minutes away.

There is one(1) bed that sleeps only two(2) people maximum.

Check in is 3:00pm or after

Checkout is 10:00am

Full check-in instructions will be emailed to you approximately one week prior to your arrival.

Once you are checked-in, please email or text me so I can turn my phone off for the night.

About Khammoui Louangrath

I came to Hawaii from Rapid City, SD in 1994 to teach. I have families in Kansas, South Dakota, Oregon, Washington State, New Mexico, Virginia, North Carolina and Arizona. My husband was born and raised in Hawaii. We have traveled all over the world and enjoying staying at nice clean places at reasonable price.

Why Khammoui Louangrath chose Kailua-Kona

We bought this property because of the pretty partial ocean view from the porch of the unit, Oceanfront Pool, parking for the unit is right below it, photo voltaic and it is right on Alii Drive where You can easily walk one mile to beaches, shopping, all tourist attractions are within 30 minutes away. The nice partial ocean view from the unit and oceanfront pool makes this the perfect place to spend your time in Hawaii. This complex has a combination of owners living in their units to long term monthly renters to short term vacation rental. You will meet many nice people with many Aloha during your stay. We have guests that keep coming back every year because they have made good friends here. The only thing we would change with this condo is the exterior brown trim on the building because it makes the building looks dated. I have made recommendation to the board to change the color of the trim the next time the buildings are painted. The condo is very green with solar water heater and photo-voltaic. If it's a cloudy day, there will be less hot water.

What makes this condo unique

No cleaning fee because I do the cleaning myself and No Damage Insurance or Deposit to keep it affordable for our guests. We are able to allow one night bookings because we clean the unit ourselves. No hidden fees. What you pay online is it.

Great Studio Apartment in Kona

Very nice studio apartment that was well stocked and clean. The owners were very helpful during the whole process. We love to snorkel and the location of the apartment was in a great location to have easy access to snorkel spots south of Kona. We would stay here again. Mahalo!

Absolutely perfect

Good location within walking distance to downtown Kona. Very clean with nice amenities - large smart TV, wi-fi, new stainless appliances and beach gear provided. Owners were great to work with. Only sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Great little place to stay!

This condo was a comfy and quiet place to stay with a great view off of the back patio. Loved hearing all of the birds and feeling the cool breeze while sipping our morning coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely quiet condo

Booking, check in and out was allvery smooth. It is a lovely Condo, nicely decorated, clean and equipped with everything you may need. It has a partial sea view from the lanai and it was very quiet at night. We would definitely recommend it!

If you enjoy walking, you can stroll the one mile- 30 minutes walk to Alii Drive Farmer's Market for fresh local fruits, vegetables, souvenir, restaurants, beaches, tourist activities, snorkeling, cloud forest.

We do our best to keep pests like ants and cockroaches out of the condo. With inspection and pest control twice a year as well as when it is needed, they do come in with your luggage, shopping bags, beach bags, fruits and vegetables you purchase and when you come back from beaches. They are great hitchhikers on whatever you carry into the unit with you.
