Warm and welcoming, this coastal cottage overlooks Tillamook Bay and the Garibaldi Pier and Boat House. With two bedrooms, a dog-friendly atmosphere, and a colorful interior, this rental promises a relaxing home away from home for up to eight guests as they explore the historic port town of Garibaldi.
The best part of this home is its location near Tillamook Bay! Spend your days enjoying a cool breeze on the large deck while you sip on a glass of wine. Garibaldi is located on the bay and only a few minutes drive south of Rockaway Beach. Looking to explore the coast? Netarts, Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge, and Cape Meares State Park and lighthouse are all nearby and worth a visit!
Eclectic and fun, the style of this rental is a pleasant homage to the 1960s. Curl up on the comfortable leather furniture, turn on the electric fireplace for ambiance, and have a fun movie night. You can throw together everything from quick snacks to elaborate meals in the full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher for easy clean-up! The retro dining table is set for six, but feel free to eat all fresco on the deck.
With two bedrooms, you'll find plenty of places for up to eight guests to rest after a long day. The first bedroom has sleeping arrangements for up to six, with a set of twin bunk beds and another twin-over-full bunk bed. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, wall-to-wall windows, and a TV with cable. The full bathroom is located down the hall. An additional futon bed in the sunroom provides extra sleeping space, if needed.
No vacation is complete without your four-legged friend! Dogs are welcome in this home, although please note that a nightly fee applies. Additional amenities include a washer and dryer, parking for a boat or even an RV (with an RV hook-up available), and wireless Internet. You'll always find the perfect temperature inside regardless of when you chose to stay here thanks to the air conditioner and electric fireplace.
Pack your bags, invite your friends, and leave your worries behind when you stay in this cute and cozy coastal cottage. With waterfront views and all of the comforts of home, you'll never want to leave!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Had a good stay. All the basics were supplied. Loved the master bedroom! The sun porch was enjoyable, especially on rainy days. Price is great for a comfortable, clean stay with an amazing view!!
This vacation rental is in the ideal location if you are planning on clamming and crabbing. The view is a beautiful Bay view, the furniture was very clean and comfortable and it was an excellent value for the price!!
Wonderful view, you could sit and look at it for your entire time here and be happy.
The house is a kick. It is old school and has tons of personality inside.
Pros: amazing view, even at night, large kitchen well-equipped with lots of character, awesome sunroom (wish it had recliners) and deck, comfortable bed, easy access to the highway. Watching the boats come and go as well as the tide was wonderful. The ever changing skies were breathtaking! Many gather as the tide goes out to dig for shellfish. And crabbers continually throw pots from the pier, too. The Coast Guard has boats that launch from their dock next to the pier. They did maneuvers while we were there, which were fun to watch.
Cons: no yard (pet area digusting.) No access from the house to pier below without walking or driving. Warning of being noise-respectful inside house due to resident living in the area potentially calling law enforcement. Said resident had a party Sunday night that never ended. Had to shut the windows and sleep on couch to block the continual yelling, laughter, eff-bombs, car alarms and overall noise from house right below. He also has a motion spotlight that was blinding. It went off and on all night. Also, there seems to be no limit to overnight camping in the parking lot in front of the pier down below the house. And the porta-potty door slamming all night long is unnerving. Kitchen has overbearing smell of bacon, which isn't bad if you dig bacon. Laundry was left in dryer, which I felt obligated to fold and put away because I didn't want to be accused of having others staying when there were none. Final negative was being in Tillamook on Saturday and being called by management, so they could have Charter come and fix the cable in the bedroom. We could either come back to sit and wait or the manager would let herself in... really? I don't feel real comfortable allowing somebody I don't know into my vacation space when I'm not around, and we didn't care and didn't even know t.v. wasn't working. Labor Day weekend and they show up on a Saturday? Sheesh. Charter was prompt and courteous, but that stole a chunk of our day.
Now, if you are a group that will be fishing daily, this is close to the launch site. If you want to buy seafood, many options within walking distance. There is also a small market about a 1/4-mile away.
Garibaldi is fantastic. I encourage anyone who hasn't visited to go and fall in love. When we go back again, we will check out other options that are easier for pets and have better access to the beach
