About Jonathan King
I grew up here in the North Country and always loved the lake. Finally as an adult I was able to buy my lake house. Work has moved me to Chicago. I get to the camp as often as possible, but when I'm not here, I like to make it available for other people to enjoy.
Jonathan King purchased this House in 2001
Why Jonathan King chose Keeseville
After looking all around Lake Champlain. I picked Port Douglass and Corlear Bay because it reminds me of what life must have been like here in the 30's.
What makes this House unique
Although we're in the country and it's very private and quiet. We have easy access to the highways and other cities and attractions the North Country has to offer. I am an on site manager. I live just 3 doors down, and am available for advice on restaurants, shopping, directions, and to be there if anything comes up.

a delightful time
We spent 5 days at Patti's Place, and it is an amazing place to stay, relax and have fun with friends. The porch is the best place ever for that first morning cup of coffee. Kayaking just a few steps away from the cabin paddling while viewing the beautiful Green Mountains of VT. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
Million dollar views of lake
This house had plenty of room for our family of five. Plenty of amenities to enjoy. Love the front porch relaxing.. Location is close to many local attractions, ferry, and eateries. Property manager was very nice and helpful checking in with us when we got there..
Awesome setting and Comfort!
The place is fantastic. Two couples used both upstairs and downstairs. Everyone loved the placed. Swimming every day, the water is fine in early September. Met a few neighbors, super friendly. Place was clean, kitchen well equipped, beds very comfortable. Grounds are very well maintained. Star lit nights. Quiet! What more could you ask for? Beats me....
Great House, Great Location
What an awesome vacation. House was great for my wife and I, and the scenery is second to none. Close by to the ferry to Burlington. We enjoyed the kayaks that were provided, and the amazing view from the decks. We will be back again!
Excellent Lake House for short or long stays! Relaxing with plenty of options.
As first time visitors to the region we browsed through many possible places before finding Patti's Camp and boy did we feel like we hit the Jackpot!! The cabin itself is pretty spacious, well laid out, tastefully decorated, extremely well kept and very well equipped. Location-wise we could not ask for better. The area is very private and quiet and the lake is beautiful and easy to swim in and in kayak around. The views of the l lake are joy inspiring at all times of day. Regionally speaking we loved hiking, visiting AuSable Chasm, and ferrying over to Burlington. And there was so much more we could have done if we had more time. It was very easy to relax, explore and enjoy ourselves. Although we did not need anything we appreciated being in contact with Jonathan. It was nice feeling not so much like 'renters'-and more like guests!! We hope to return soon!
What a view!
This place has been cared for and redone. The camp was beautiful and the view was amazing. I wish we could have stayed forever! Note: there is limited TV, Internet and no air conditioning. We thought that this would be an issue but it wasn't really. There is a great breeze coming off the lake and tons of Windows with screens to cool the house down well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.
Welcome to the Adirondack North Country. This is an undiscovered part of the world that has changed very little from the 1930's. This is a quiet and undeveloped part of the lake. Life at the lake is great, but if you decide to leave, there is plenty to do nearby.
