Located in a 'complete' resort complex with pool, tennis, clubhouse, lagoon kayaks and on site management the complex is on Bowman’s Beach which is considered the best shelling on the “seashell capital” island.
Nature preserves surround the complex making it a perfect spot for enjoying the natural tropical environs without sacrificing any creature comforts. Travelers can walk into J Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve to experience manatees, alligators and some of the best bird watching on the east coast.
The condo is like home away from home complete with comfortable furnishings, TV’s VCR’s and games, The kitchen is fully equipped for the chef in the group or dine out, it’s just a short drive to many highly rated restaurants, shops and cultural activities. A) E201, is in Blind Pass Condominiums, a small complex of two and three bedroom apartments on the quiet west end of the island, closer to Captiva, on the second floor.
Q)Are you on the beach?
A) A wooden footbridge brings you over a delightful lagoon full of wading birds, to a natural lovely beach. Bowman’s beach is considered by most who know Sanibel to be the best beach on the island (widest, longest, least populated, and best shelling.)
Q) Can you see the water from the apartment?
A) No, the view from the condo is of lush tropical vegetation.
Q) What about towels, linens, beach towels?
A) The unit is fully stocked with new and good quality sheets,towels, and beach towels. We also provide vacation renters with beach chairs and a beach umbrella.
Q) What do I need to bring?
A) Of course, your own personal items (toothbrush, hair dryer, shampoo, etc). We provide a starter 'Kit' of things for the household, like dish and laundry detergent, but you will either need to buy more while you are visiting or bring it from home. There are plenty of stores on the island for shopping.
Q) If the weather is cooler, is the pool heated?
A) Yes, the pool is heated.
Q) Is there a porch, veranda or some other outdoor area?
A) No, apartment E201 is one of the units that does not offer a porch.
Q)What are the advantages to staying at Condo E201?
A) E201 is privately owned and privately marketed by the owner. That means every possible measure is taken to make it a clean, comfortable and convenient place to enjoy your holiday for a week, two or more. The extra touches, like ceiling fans throughout, the privacy of having two en-suite bedrooms, the sophistication of the master bath, the quality of linens and dishes, the abundance of quality electronic equipment ensure that our guests will have everything they need to feel like they are in a luxury hotel at budget prices.
Q) Is there a cleaning fee?
A) The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned before you arrive and after you leave at no expense to you, assuming there has been no breakage or damage to carpets or furniture.
Q) What about while we are there?
A) These are holiday housekeeping condos...that is you keep (clean) the unit according to your needs. Most items (vacuum, broom, etc.) you will need to keep house will be in the unit. You may need to purchase some cleaning agents when you do your food shopping.
Q) When is check-in/check-out?
A) Check in begins at 3 pm and check out begins at 10 am on Saturdays.
Q) Is there an internet connection?
A) Yes, the unit hosts fiber optic high speed internet for your entertainment.

About Mary Emilius
I started coming to Sanibel while a college student on the east coast of Florida and it was love at first sight. Unbelievably the island has not changed since then (1975). It is truly a unique and precious tropical paradise with no towering condos or big boxes. It is as close to virgin tropics as you will find in the US.

It is located far from what could be considered 'maddening crowds', the commercial area of Sanibel. An easy drive - 5 miles - but far enough away to offer no traffic, peace and quiet in the complex and at the beach.
What makes this Condo unique
The nature enthusiasts will be amazed at the untouched environs surrounding the small complex. We have added all the comforts of home for your convenience. The unit has everything you need to cook, play or be entertained. Bedrooms both have private baths and are located at opposite ends of the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for the chef in your group and there is also a poolside grilling and picnic area adjacent to the clubhouse. Beach equipment includes chairs, mats, umbrella and an assortment of toys. Noodles for the pool and a handy cart completes the package. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

Blind Pass E201 is located on the quiet west end of the island near Captiva Island. The unit is on the 2nd floor and a jog down the stairs takes you to the private beach path over the bayou's wooden foot bridge to the beach. The complex has a beautiful pool, tennis courts clubhouse and outdoor grilling area.
