Beautiful, panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Grandfather Mountain from this newly constructed, 3,000 square foot cabin. The New River and historical Todd are just two miles away for biking, rafting, and canoeing.

Main floor: Huge deck and screen-porch to enjoy the seasons. Master bedroom with Queen-size bed. Oversized master bath with Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. Huge living room with 22 foot tall pine vaulted ceiling and hard wood floors with gas fireplace. Fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, solid surface countertops and hard wood floors. Powder room and laundry also on main floor.

Upstairs: Second Master bedroom with a Queen-size bed and a private deck (Awesome Views). Full bathroom off of bedroom. Gorgeous loft with hardwood floors and ceiling and full-size sleeper futon.

Full daylight basement: Bedroom with queen bed and twin-size bunkbeds, and patio. Full bath. Family room with large sectional Queen sleeper sofa and patio. Two-way gas fireplace and large game room for playing pool, air hockey, ping pong or board games or put down a full-size air mattress for extra sleeping.

All the amenities of home plus gorgeous views and relaxation!

Great property! The view is amazing. Host was very prompt in returning messages. The driveway is quite steep but not a problem in good weather, just know that only 2 cars would be able to park there. All linens and towels are provided but you have to launder them yourselves after your stay.

Host was very helpful and easy to work with. The house was clean and orderly. The kitchen had everything you would need for a great stay. The furniture was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Such a beautiful view. We spent more time enjoying the mountains than we did on excursions. Hope to return in the near future.

The photos don’t do justice…. It is so beautiful! This cabin was spotless, smelled fresh and clean, and is well appointed. It rained while we were there so the screened porch was perfect. Convenient to whatever you need/want to do. Can’t wait to come back!

Spectacular Views

The views cannot be beat. You can see grandfather mountain 20 miles away. The common areas are spacious and there is plenty of room to eat inside and out. Plenty of seating all about. Only negative is the steep driveway, but it's worth it

The View is Everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is very nice but the view is the ultimate. There were a few minor things that could make the home more user-friendly. A few lightbulbs were out. Also, labeling the many light switches would have been convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend, and we will definitely be renting again!!!!

Friendship reunion

The view was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed the house it was lots of room and kept pretty well. The game room downstairs was very fun. The only things we didn’t love were that we couldn’t be even a little bit loud outside due to worrying about a neighbor complaining. With a view and a porch like that, we didn’t want to leave but felt like we had to go inside. Another thing is that I felt as if the checkout process wasn’t completely upfront. The cleaning fee is very pricey and we had to do all the sheets and clean all of the dishes before checking out at 11 am. I feel like with a cleaning fee that expensive, the housekeeping should take care of that.

Didn’t want to leave!

Leaving was the worst part of our stay. Everything else was perfect! Perfect view, perfect amount of space and perfectly maintained. Very clean and had everything we needed for our getaway. We spent most of our time on the amazing deck that that was filled with mountain view’s and mountain breezes…oh and lots of laughter. It’s a truly amazing spot to enjoy all of God’s creation. We were blessed with seeing many bird types and the occasional deer, at the house and walking through the neighborhood. We even got to enjoy seeing the strawberry moon. It location is very close to West Jefferson. So we also headed out there for a little hike at the top of Mt Jefferson…excellent view there as well. Well worth the short hike. Excellent place for a family! We will have many great memories from our stay. I would recommend to anyone. We have stayed at many homes in this area and this is by far the best!

I grew up here in Winston-Salem, NC and always loved the North Carolina mountains. My wife is from Phoenix, AZ and fell in love with the mountain area as well. I have a decking business in the Winston area and we built this cabin so we could get away to the mountains as often as possible with our 2 children and (quite often) their friends.

We built this cabin ourselves back in 2004 after we found this lot which has an absolutely phenomenal view! We knew immediately that we wanted to buy this lot and build a house where we could enjoy the view in a wonderful, cozy atmosphere.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

"Getting away from it all" is the only way to describe the feeling we get up here. It is quiet and tranquil and you can feel the worries of the world ebbing away from you. Yet it is still close to many outdoor activities -- including golf, hiking, and the New River -- as well as restaurants and shopping, for when you feel a little more energetic.
