Photos don’t do it justice!!

Bridal party and out of town friends stayed for a lovely wedding weekend. The house is much grander than the photos in the listing. Lots and lots of room for everyone.

Comfortable home

Very nice house. Roomy which is important when traveling with children. 3 king beds was a plus with for adults. Plenty of space to store food. Well equipped kitchen. The deck and screen porch were pleasant.

I would have loved to give a better review as the home itself is very nice and the location is great. That being said, we had trouble with the 9 digit door code and the key pad. Luckily the back door was open. Miscellaneous items (air filters, dryer accessories) lying around in laundry room, but not the beach towels that were supposed to be in laundry room cabinets. They were provided after request, but we had already gone to beach. Saute type pans are all badly scratched, we avoided using them. Those were fairly minor things and I would have let slide (I am also a host so I understand that things happen) but then when we went to use the grilll (it is rusted and digusting) Spent and hour trying to clean/figure out how to make usable maybe with foil, then to find out even with the tank replacement it was not working. Luckily a neighbor allowed us to cook our 150 of Wagyu beef on their grill.Upstairs air conditioning went out on the last night. Miserable night sleep for daughter and her young family the night before a flight home.Today is last day to post a review, was hoping to have compensation by now. After 5 texts and 2 phone calls, I am still waiting to hear from Casago as to compensation, apparently they cannot get ahold of the managment team, which is odd because I thought that they are the property managers!

Laura, thank you for choosing Trumpet Creeper 43. We’re pleased you enjoyed the home and its location, though we’re sorry several aspects of your stay kept it from being the experience you expected. Since your visit, we’ve replaced the cookware and the grill, and we were glad to provide a refund in recognition of the inconvenience you experienced. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as it helped us make improvements, and we hope you were still able to enjoy your time on beautiful Kiawah Island.

Great

Everything was Great. Got email for car passes after we left home asked for them to be left at entry gate. People at entry gate, VERY RUDE!! Not helpful or willing to help. Talked down to us and hateful. Treated us like we should not be there or like we were not good enough to be there. We have stayed at several houses on Kiawah, had good time, houses always nice, clean. When passes were asked to be at gate, attendee, Very rude.
