Description Summary of this two bedroom/two bathroom Penthouse:
A rare 2 bedroom 2 bath Penthouse suite that is a corner unit to enjoy Oceanviews and Sunset....Mountain views and the 'Honolulu City Lights' (popular local hawaiian song).
Very Spacious and Open Floor Plan makes it very comfortable for large families or friends retreat. Master has a Cal King with a futon sofa. Adjacent is a Masterbath that is upgraded with glass blocks that surrounds the shower.
Guest Bedroom offers 2 twin beds. Guest bedroom actually offers the most spectacular ocean views....(nice hint).
Other sleeping accomodation is a folding futon that is easy to stow in closet.
Washer and dryer also in the unit...

note: We recently changed the living room cushions for more comfort and also replaced the carpet with new engineered wood laminate flooring (see photos)!

Furnitures were relatively old but functioning well
The day of arrival gave us that Wow factor. Great facility, great view, great location! The welcome package was just right.
Rick and Miki were great to deal with. They know service.

the best location
I think it is the best location to stay in Honolulu.
You can see Friday fireworks sitting on the chair without any obstacle.
Rooms and kitchen are clean. The best is the manager provide her best effort to help us.
There is small problem in bathroom and she came immediately and solve the problem.

I would tell some pros and cons.
1) the best location. You can go anywhere without traffic. Waikiki area is quite busy, but you can avoid that traffic.
2) Height. You can have panoramic view.
3) The manager is very supportive.
1) Parking fee should be paid. It is somewhat high, I think
2) It is located beside main street, so there is some noise. Especially, Friday and Saturday.
Great view and location!
Rick was very responsive to any questions we had prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. The space was nice, clean and was not as noisy as some reviews claimed. The only negative was that the pool deck was closed for repairs and we were counting on using the BBQ and pool. Great place to stay, everything within walking distance.

Fantastic view and location, but unit needs updating
All of the reviews that rave about the view and Rick's responsiveness are absolutely correct. It's pretty amazing to see Honolulu from the 43rd floor, and it's great to have a caring, thoughtful property manager! What I'm puzzled about, though, is why the owner doesn't update the unit with comfortable and clean furniture, a new coat of paint, new carpeting, and more dishes (including sharp knives). He could then charge quite a lot per night. Also, I'd have to admit that I've never stayed in an apartment with only saloon doors separating the master bedroom from the master bathroom, or in a unit where the master bedroom door can't be fully closed due to the lack of a doorknob.
located moments to Waikiki Beach...a block away...stroll through Ft.DeRussy Park or Hilton Hawaiian Village....Hilton has gardens, exotic birds and waterfalls and shops on your way to the Hilton Lagoon and Waikiki Beach...
Ala Moana Shopping Center is a 10 minute bus away...300 stores!
Same block to catch the City Bus 'The Bus' will also take you to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial...
