We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home. The host was exceptional—highly responsive and attentive to our needs throughout our visit. The location is ideal and extremely convenient, situated just a few steps from downtown Julian.This property was especially well suited for our group, as we traveled with two elderly family members, one of whom had significant mobility limitations. The home is very accessible, and having the main living area on the same level as the master bedroom made our stay much more comfortable and manageable.The house was well stocked with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. Parking was easy, with ample space available in the rear. The home is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with a charming, nostalgic feel, and there were plenty of games to enjoy. We also shared many memorable moments gathered around the piano.Being within walking distance to Main Street and the market was a major advantage. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to others.

The place was cute and cozy. The host was very responsive, and friendly. If we make a trip back to julian we will definitely be staying here again!

Why they chose this property

I like the town of Julian, Ca for its beauty and history. I like the fact that this is an old gold mine town and that this property is in a historic district that encourages the buildings to reflect architecture from the 1880's to the 1930's.

What makes this property unique

This property was built in 1906 by one of the town "Old Timers" who was a miner, a constable, and the first fire chief for Julian. He knew the founders of the town.
