Fabulous 6-bedroom 3 bath house w swimming pool, Pool House near 1st Encounter.

Located in Eastham, enjoy what this 6-bedroom house has to offer. With one queen bed, four king beds, and two twin beds, there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. The house features three bathrooms, making mornings easy for all guests. Stay comfortable year-round with air conditioning and heating, and freshen up with the hair dryer and iron provided. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of adventure or gearing up for a new one, this peaceful retreat is the perfect spot. We look forward to welcoming you to our place.

The salt water swimming pool (18' x 36' and 4 feet deep) is maintained at 86 degrees so is always a pleasure to swim laps or play with floats (provided). The gazebo, surrounded by a magnificent deck, provides the perfect space for enjoying the outdoors. All of this is surrounded by well maintained mature gardens creating a private paradise for relaxing, sun bathing on large chaise lounges or dining on the upper deck at two glass topped tables with 18 chairs. Grill on the large Weber grill right near the kitchen.

The kids at heart will love playing badminton, croquet or basketball. Continue to the bike trail, at the dead end of the road and enjoy a walk or ride to Orleans or Wellfleet.

Rainy days aren't a problem. There is a large screen color television in the downstairs playroom for everyone to enjoy a show together. Additionally, there are legos and blocks for the littlest ones to stay busy.

Readers can enjoy choosing a selection from the many books available. There are puzzles and games, as well.

I've been a host on vrbo (Homeaway originally) since 1999 but during COVID, stopped renting my property. This year, I decided to offer my property again for the short term rental season. Guests benefit because there is now a heated salt water pool to enjoy while here!

I moved to Eastham in 1979 and continue to love the specialness of this Town. It's what I call the "blue collar" of the Outer Cape. Just 3 miles wide from Ocean to Bay, it's very unique.

As a single, retired female, I feel completely safe living here. The local "Superette" is my go to store. They offer everything and it's just up the road, a back road, from the house.

Originally from Norwalk, CT, I find living on the Cape the dream life I always imagined it would be.

Surely you will get a sense of this when staying in my home. I look forward to hosting you.

Why they chose this property

Originally, we were going to add on to our house in North Eastham. However, my accountant suggested that we move to one of the spec houses my husband was building. So, that's how this property became what it is, in 1984.

Continually upgraded and maintained, I am sure you will find it to be all you hoped for in a Cape vacation. Most neighbors are year round residents so there won't be loud parties to annoy you and your vacationing group.

What makes this property unique

The uniqueness of this property is that it's 3/4 of an acre, mostly in the back yard. So it is very private.

The pool has added a very wonderful feature as it's surrounded by a huge mahogany deck that features a gazebo as well as comfortable chaises and a high top table. Also, a gas fired table with 4 chairs is great for late night chats.
