Walk right out the door to your kayak or rowboat & listen to the loons sing their greetings.......This is the LAKESIDE, ground floor, lower lock-off unit of a 3-story Lake House. The remodeled bathroom has a new steam shower added in 2017. A full-sized washer & dryer in a large laundry room is an added bonus.
Outside, there is a large patio to enjoy w/ a BBQ & table and chairs. Adirondack style chairs on the lawn overlook the lake.....If timing is right, huckleberries may be found on the property or nearby woods. A new floating dock was added in 2016 and there is a rowboat plus 2 kayaks to enjoy great water recreation. Search for ice-cold springs gurgling up into the far left end of Spoon Lake, but be respectful of temporary late spring/early summer buoys straight across the lake denoting sensitive nesting areas for loons that are so rare in Montana.
Glacier National Park is just minutes away, take the shortcut across Blankenship Bridge where the legendary North Fork and the combined Middle/South Forks of the Flathead River meet. Explore some of Montana's finest fishing holes and whitewater rivers, or hike Glacier Park's magnificent peaks, waterfalls and glacial valleys in God's Country. Explore trendy Whitefish boutiques, Bigfork art galleries and summer stock Bigfork Playhouse, casual laid back Columbia Falls.......we highly recommend the Three Forks Grille........or the historic Polebridge Mercantile 27 miles north on mostly gravel roads w/ some of Glacier Park's most spectacular panoramas.
