Clean/adequate/basic

  • 2 of 5

No WIFI, no cable tv, no washer/dryer/dishwasher/disposal, empty salt & pepper. All in all a basic cabin near West Glacier gate (15 minute drive). You can do better.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

  • 5 of 5

My family loved our stay in this very comfortable log cabin! Outside, all you hear is the nearby river, birds, squirrels, and nature. It is truly a peaceful location well off the main road but within a short drive to the entrance of Glacier National Park. We would have loved to stay longer just to spend some time relaxing outside the cabin and taking a walk to the river. The cabin has everything you need to cook your meals, including a gas BBQ, and the grocery store in Columbia Falls has reasonable prices. We did not spend much time inside on our trip, but the beds are very comfortable, and it is so quiet at night! There is no wifi and no cable tv, but you will never miss it because there is so much in the area to keep you busy all day! The owner, Frank, lives on the property in his own house, and was very easy to work with and available to answer any questions we had. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here if visiting the area again!

GORGEOUS CABIN

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! Everything was perfectly stocked and perfectly comfortable. They have added a deck and fire pit that aren't in the photos. We planned our trip to spend time in Glacier National Park (and we really packed it in) but wished we had more time to enjoy this cabin and it's environment. If we make it back to GNP, we will be staying here again!!!

Exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

Frank's log cabin home exceeded all our expectations.

It looks brand new, clean and modern inside.

Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and plates.

There is a lovely deck to sit on.

The beds were comfortable. Lots of towels.

Frank and his wife were kind and attentive. They sincerely wanted us to enjoy ourselves.

The cabin is a short walk to a bridge where some rafting trips end.

The river is serene and just a short stroll from the cabin.

We loved their two gorgeous and well behaved golden retreivers.

Frank says there are great snowshoe and cross country ski trails right close to the cabin, if you want to plan a winter trip.

Cabin is just a few minutes to the entrance to Glacier National Park.

Great cabin near West Glacier

  • 5 of 5

Cabin is as advertised. Immaculately clean, everything works, functional layout, on pretty property adjacent to the river with horses, dogs, and lots of trees. It's convenient to both West Glacier and Columbia Falls. Frank was a great host, providing useful information and even bear spray to borrow, while being unobtrusive. Three Forks Grille is definitely the star restaurant in the area. Definitely recommend.
