Great for relaxing and refreshing!
We loved the solitude and quietness of this cabin location. Has everything a couple or small family needs to get away from the crowds. Glacier Park is minutes away. You can dine in or out as Columbia Falls is a short distance as well. Frank, the owner knows all about the park and even let us use his bear spray. If you need a recommendation on where to eat, go, hike, or explore, he can tell you. He nor anyone else around bothers you even though he lives on the property. There is no satellite TV or wifi which was great! Everything else is right at home. We highly recommend this cabin if you want off the beaten path.
On a three-week trip through National Parks, this was our favorite place to stay. It's out of the way, but convenient to Glacier National Park, and Frank was a thoughtful and available host. The cabin was immaculate.
Don't bother with a hotel....this is where you stay.
A quiet spot...great location...close to the park...everything you need. Frank was a great host. Was extremely attentive and took care of anything that was needed.
No WIFI, no cable tv, no washer/dryer/dishwasher/disposal, empty salt & pepper. All in all a basic cabin near West Glacier gate (15 minute drive). You can do better.
Wish we could have stayed longer!
My family loved our stay in this very comfortable log cabin! Outside, all you hear is the nearby river, birds, squirrels, and nature. It is truly a peaceful location well off the main road but within a short drive to the entrance of Glacier National Park. We would have loved to stay longer just to spend some time relaxing outside the cabin and taking a walk to the river. The cabin has everything you need to cook your meals, including a gas BBQ, and the grocery store in Columbia Falls has reasonable prices. We did not spend much time inside on our trip, but the beds are very comfortable, and it is so quiet at night! There is no wifi and no cable tv, but you will never miss it because there is so much in the area to keep you busy all day! The owner, Frank, lives on the property in his own house, and was very easy to work with and available to answer any questions we had. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here if visiting the area again!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! Everything was perfectly stocked and perfectly comfortable. They have added a deck and fire pit that aren't in the photos. We planned our trip to spend time in Glacier National Park (and we really packed it in) but wished we had more time to enjoy this cabin and it's environment. If we make it back to GNP, we will be staying here again!!!
